Chapter 3: Saturday Study

Melody crawled out of bed on the Saturday Morning, stretching her arms then rubbing her eyes. She dragged herself over to the bathroom and brushed her hair, too tired to put it up and walked into the hallway to look at the time.

"Good Morning, Melody! How'd you sleep?" 

Melody heard Aphmau's voice from the living room. Curious, she walked into the living room. Zane and Aphmau were sitting on the couch, popcorn, waffles, and apple juice sitting on the side tables.

"G-good as usual. What are you doing here?" She asked with a smile.

"Oh! Hehe! Well, since we missed most of Season 6 of My little Pony, we're gonna watch it! Wanna join us?"

"Okay! Sounds like fun!" 

"Hehe, Great! Take a seat and grab whatever food you want to eat! We're about to start!"

"Okay!"

Melody planted herself on the couch next to Zane and grabbed a waffle. As she bit into it, Aphmau turned on the 4th episode of Season 6 and they all watched My Little Pony for a few hours before Melody went to change. She got dressed in her favorite pink shirt with matching skirt and put in her white headband. As she came out to join them again, there was a knock on the door.

"I'll get it!" She announced and hurried to answer the door. 

"Hi is this- oh!"

 The voice belonged to Levin. He was wearing a dark blue shirt with a comical superhero on the front, his hair was neatly combed as always and he was wearing some light colored jeans. He also had black converse sneakers and he smiled when he saw Melody.

"Levin? How'd you find my house? I never told you my address..." Melody asked curiously.

"Well, Alexis told me! She said she's been to your house once to watch My Little Pony with you, and I was wondering, there's a test on Monday in Mr. Keller's class for Spanish, would you like to study together for it?"

"Hold on, lemme ask Papa, come in and wait!"

She opened the door more for Levin then rushed to the living room.

"Papa? Levin was wondering if we could study for a test we have on Monday in Spanish right now."

"Sure, Melody. Remember, stay in the kitchen to study, no boys in bedrooms!"

"I know! Thanks Papa!"

Melody then skipped away to Levin and told him the good news. She then got her backpack out of her room and dragged it to the kitchen, pulling out her Spanish notebook and a pencil. Levin was sitting at the dining table already and had his notebook and pencil as well. Melody also pulled out her flashcards.

"Okay, so, I have the flashcards to study for the test, what did you need to go over?"

"You mean, you know this stuff?"

"Oh yeah! I like it, or rather, me gusta esto!" She laughed. Levin laughed too.

"Okay then. I was having a hard time with the vocabulary, I don't remember what most of the 'La Casa' vocabulary is." 

"Oh okay! I have all the notes for that one! Let's see, here we are!" She opened her notebook to the section titled 'La Casa'. There was the words and English translations written neatly with small illustrations next to them. "Put a mark next to the ones you don't know!"

"Okay!" 

Levin took his pencil and scanned over the list checking several of them: El Dormitorio, La Puerta, La Ventana, El Reloj, La Television, La Cama, La Lampara and La Cocina.
