Fear of the Dark

Chapter 8

 I don't really use my powers. They are very few and don't do that much. But I can always take care of myself. If I need to I will defend myself in any way possible. But snapping at people like that is dangerous for me. If I use them because of anger I can really harm myself more. It can reflect on me if my intentions are to kill or harm badly. Lucky I care too much for Pitch that I could never harm him like that.

 When I gain consciousness I see a lot of elves and yetis around me. I'm still at the Pole. I sit up slowly and look at where I am . I'm on the floor. I'm guessing I wasn't out for that long. I check the time and I've been out for about 20 minutes. That's ok then. Then I remember Jamie.

" I need to go and get Jamie." I say to myself. I stand up, slowly so the blood won't rush from my head too much, and go get a snow globe. I find one and get myself ready to leave. The yetis give me a hug and I tell them to be ready if North needs them. Then I smash the snow globe and a portal opens.I feel my hair changing into a a very dark navy blue as I go through the portal and end up in Burgress. I see Jamie's house but I see Jack in his window. He starts making stuff on Jamie's window so I see what he's trying to do. He's trying to get Jamie to believe. I jump up on the fence to see better into his bedroom and see that its snowing in his bedroom now. I decide to use my powers again. This time making Jamie believe in Jack for a second, that might be enough for him to see Jack and then permanently believe in him. I send the energy over to Jamie and his expression changes quickly as he starts blurting out Jack's name. I fall off the fence hurting myself, but then I hear Jack  laughing and Jamie's exited voice fill in the silence of the night. After a while Norths sleigh comes into view as he crashes it. I run over to them to help them out and Jack comes flying out of Jamie's bedroom window. North see's me and Jack.

" Jack, (y/n), What are you doing here?" North then says. Me and Jack look at each other with knowing smiles and nod.

" Same as you." We then say at the same time and at that exact moment Jamie comes running out. His face when he sees North and his sleigh was wonderful.

" The last light." North then says. Jaime comes running over to North.

" I knew it! I knew it wasn't a dream!" Jamie says as he looks at Jack with the same wonder as before. Jack just smiles a brotherly smile to him.

" Jack, he sees you." North then says. I smile to myself and give Jack a small punch on the shoulder.

" You're welcome." I say with a big mocking smile on my face as Jack looks confused, so do Tooth and North.

" I made Jamie believe in him for a moment. Then when he saw Jack he believed in him on his own. Remember when he started to blurt out your name? That was me." I say to them. Focusing on Jack. Jack gives me a thankful smile and looks at Jamie again.

" But wait. Where's Bunny?" Jack then says. I start wondering the same thing.

" Loosing Easter took it's tole on all off us, Bunny most of all." North then says and both him and Tooth look at the sleigh. Then a small bunny jumps up from the sleigh. 

" Oh no." Jack then says as he looks at the gray bunny.

" Bunny?" I say with worry in my voice.

" Wait, That's the Easter Bunny?" Jamie then says mockingly, walking over to Bunny.

" Now somebody sees me. Where were you about an hour ago mate?" Bunny says getting up on his hind legs and crossing  his paws.

" What happened to him, he used to be huge and cool, and now he's cute." Jamie says and pets Bunny. Bunny seems to like getting pet, I'll make a mental note of that for later.
