Calum and I sat in in his car talking and listening to the radio. Calum took me to my house so I can get my stuff for the next three days. I had to admit, I was nervous. We pulled up my driveway and I stepped out of the car. "Stay here, I'll be right back." Calum nodded.

I ran into my house and grabbed a bag and started shoving shirts and pants in the bag. I grabbed my hairbrush some makeup and underwear. As soon as I was done, I ran down the stairs and locked the door behind me. Calum was jamming to music, and I noticed the song. It was don't stop believing by journey. As soon as I got in the car I sang the lyrics with him. "A singer in a smoking room."

"Smell of wine and cheap perfume."

"For a smile the can share the night, it goes on and on and on and on." We sang together. We both looked at each other and smiled. We arrived at his house shortly after.

His parents had already left and he took me to his room. "Okay, so this is where you're sleeping tonight, with me." He grinned.

"Wh-what? We're sleeping with each other?"

"Well yeah, there's no where else for you to sleep."

"What about your mom's room?"

"I don't think she'd like that."

"Ugh, fine."

I sat my stuff down beside his bed and took a good look around. He had dark blue covers on his bed, his favorite color. His room was a light brown. Posters hung up everywhere. It was very dark in here. Well there are no lights on. I saw 2 guitars and a bass in the corner of the room. I knew he was into music. There was a desk to the right against the wall with his computer and some workspace. I finally spoke up and said "You have a nice room."

"Thanks, its even nicer now that you're in it." He said winking.

"You're so corny." I said while blushing and laughing.

"Well, let's get this party started. Follow me." He led me down the stairs into the living room which was huge. There was a huge flat screen tv and lots of space.

"Take a seat, let's see what there is to watch on Netflix." Calum said. I sat down on the couch and Calum turned on the tv. "Hmmmm there's the notebook, Spiderman, grown ups-"

"Woah woah woah, hold up, the notebook? I love that movie!!"

"Ugh a chick flick, great."

"Hey, you suggested it." I said laughing.

He clicked play and got up to make popcorn. He handed me some and sat down beside me. Surprisingly really close. A few minutes went by and Calum spoke up. "So Avery, I've been wanting to tell you this and I finally worked up the nerve. I've had feelings for you ever since we met, I was afraid to tell you because I thought it would ruin our friendship. I really want a relationship with you. A serious one in fact. Damn it, I actually would love being in a relationship with you Avery. You mean so much to me," I was speechless. "Please say something."

"Calum, I literally thought the same thing," I said giggling, "I would love that too." Heat started to rise to my cheeks. I knew I was blushing, great.

"Well then, what do you say we take it to another level? Avery, will you be my girlfriend?"

Oh my god, this was actually happening. "I'd love to!" I said excitedly. Calum hugged me and we continued to watch the rest of the movie. It got late quickly. By the time the movie was over it was already 12:30. My eyes started getting heavy. I think Calum noticed that.

"Hey, why don't we head upstairs." I nodded my head in agreement and Calum turned off all the lights and tv. We walked up the stairs and I tripped. Calum hurried over and caught me. "You alright?"
