Chapter 3

Lauren's POV

We entered a dead drunk bar, full of big old men with beards who are allowed to smoke inside. It stunk.
Everyone eyed us and the place went silent when we walked in.
"This is awkward", Cara whispered to me. I chuckled and we walked up to the bar.

"Right, we'll order the drinks you guys find a seat", Luke said as him and Daniel walked up to the bar. They already knew our orders.

"Well, what do you say cousin, you up for a game of pool", Stuart challenged Cara. "Hah lets go Stuart", Cara mocked his name to make it sound like she already won.
"You may aswell back out now like, you know I'm gonna win", Cara teased.
"Oh I don't know about that, Cara", Stuart attempted to mock.
"Just no", Cara said as she patted his shoulder.

"Right who's breaking lads?", Talia asked as she set up the game. "Stuart is gonna break", Cara smiled.
Stuart chuckled. "Hah, peace of cake", Stuart walked to the end if the pool table trying to be cool.
Cara, Talia and I covered our faces laughing.
"Aim aaaaaaaaand PAH", Stuart concentrated and sent the white ball off the table hit the wall and ricocheted off the wall and hit his head as he fell to the floor.
"HAAAHHHHH!!!!! I NEED A POINT FOR THAT!", Cara shouted as she burst out into laughter.
Even the awkward old men were laughing at him.
James tried helping him up without dropping him, trying not to let his laughter control him.
"Danny boy tha you?", Stuart said rolling his eyes in all directions.
"No Stu it's just James", James laughed. "Ugh get Danny he always pics me up when I'm down", Stuart mumbled.
"Alright", James dropped Stuart between laughs.

"Daniel, you're on Stuart duty", James patted Daniels shoulder. Daniel groaned. "Ugghhh I'm always on Stuart duty", Daniel walked over whilst bringing some drinks.

He put the drinks on the table and lifted Stuart up with one arm in a flash. "I must say I'm flattered but you're gonna have to start obsessing over someone else", Daniel joked but was still serious at the same time.

"Danny boy do you see stars too", Stuart said falling over his legs.
"Get over it you got hit like yesterday just play already", Cara said getting annoyed with her cousin.
"Nah you can break", Stuart replied trying to hold himself up.
"Fine", Cara said taking her aim and hitting a yellow and a red snooker ball into two different holes.
"I choose red", Cara smirked and took her second shot hitting in one more red.
"Ohhh no I'm awake now, you goin dooowwwn cousin", Stuart stood up straight and started stretching.
"Hah good look with that cousin", Cara said hitting in a yellow.
"Shiiiit", Cara stompt her foot and Stuart smirked aiming for his shot.

"I can sense something good is going to happen", Kayla nudged me and I couldn't help but laugh. "I dunnoohhh", I said looking down and smirking a bit. "AHHHH YOU KNOW IT", Talia shouted.
"Shhhhhhhhutup", I whisper shouted as they both smirked at each other.

"Hey guys", Luke came over with his drink and sat next to us along with Daniel and James.
Kayla coughed. "Be cool. Aheeeem heeeyy", she said awkwardly as I through my hands in the air a bit.
"I got this", she winked.
I sighed.

The lads just looked at us awkwardly. "Ooookaaaaayyy, so eh-", Luke began as hey got interrupted by Stuart cheering.
"YESSSS I WON! YOU HIT IN THE BLACK!", Stuart cheered and screamed like a little girl.
"YEAH I LET YOU WIN", Cara screamed back to him
"You did yeeeeaaaaah", Stuart laughed at her.
"REMATCH SO ILL TRY THIS TIME", Cara challenged Stuart.
"Grand just prepare to loose", Stuart laughed. Cara groaned.

We all laughed. "Come on we need to see this", Courtney said walking up to the table. A few of us followed.
"Right lads who's your money on?", Luke asked us all.
"Place your bets on me lads!", Stuart shouted as he waved his arms. "Yeah if you wanna loose your money", Cara mocked.

"Alright I'll put my money on Stuart", Luke but his money in Ali's hat. "Hey!?", Cara shouted in confusion.
"Don't worry I put my money on you", Daniel and James both said at the same time. They looked at each other awkwardly. We all silently giggled.
"Aaahhh Danny ?", Stuart threw his hands up.

Everyone placed their bets and they started playing.
Cara broke and hit in two yellows and one red.
"Yellows so", she said taking her next shot.
Another one went in.
Cara started hitting the yellows off the sides and hitting them in. She was chipping the white ball over reds and hitting yellows. We all just watched her take her shots when the black was the only one left.

"I choose that one", she said choosing which hole to hit the black in.
There was a red in front of the white so she chipped the white hitting the black off the side and getting into the right hole.

We all clapped slowing a bit shocked. Stuart stood there looking all pissed. "That gave you a bit of a rest did it Stu?", Cara mocked.

She took Daniels drink and took a sip. "Now I can rest", Cara said walking over to the others.
"Woah", the lads said as we laughed.
"HAH! The suspenseful atmosphere is just too hard to take seriously", Peyton couldn't keep serious.

We all went back over and sat with the others downing our drinks.

10 days later

Cara's POV

The last week was fairly fun. We had snowball fights. We built forts. It was just too cute to explain.
We were all sitting around the fire in the cabin cuddled up in blankets from the bedrooms.
A few of us were sitting right next to the fire cooking some marshmallows.

"Alright guys who wants to play hide and seek?", Emily asked us.
"DIBZ NOT ON!", we all shouted except Lauren.
"Wahh?", she said cuddled up in her little blanket beside Courtney.
"You're on", Emily said in a really pirky voice with a victorious smirk.
"Ehm k", Lauren chuckled putting out her hands and shrugged.

"Come on guys lets plan, you stay here Lauren", Emily skipped outside the door.
"Alright jesus", Lauren laughed.
We all followed her outside and a few of us mimiced 'help' to Lauren as she laughed mad to herself.

We walked outside and huddled as Emily began to speak.
"Okay it's clear who our captain is", she laughed. "Me-".
"Cara", Kayla interrupted.
I just laughed. Everyone laughed.
"Okay Cara whats the plan?", Courtney asked.
"Plan?", I questioned. "Yeah come on girl what's a game without a plan like?".

"Suppose you're right girl, okay ehhhmm. Well there's not that much places. If Kayla and Talia ye sneak in the back and wait till she leaves the house and watch from there. Everyone have their phone's with them so we can text each other. I suppose a few hide maybe behind the house.
Oh Peyton, Courtney, Stuart, James, Luke and Daniel ye can climb a few trees stay close like two of ye then others hide far away and close together. The rest hide behind a few trees and run a bit away and build a few small forts and only hide behind some", I planned everything out pretty well.

"You and me hide in the bus", Emily suggested. I hesitated for a second.
"Ehhm, no it's fine I'll go on my own you go with the others".
Emily looked disgusted.
"Bu-".
"Ahh, ah, ah no you weren't voted captain", Kayla interrupted her again. Kayla and I just laughed.
"Fiiiine", she rolled her eyes.

"Right lets spread out, keep your phones on you", I said about to walk to the bus.
"I'll tell Lauren to start counting", Kayla said walking into the cabin as everyone spread out.

"Hey Cara you look tired", Emily stopped me.
"A bit like, not really, why".
"Well here's an energy drink anyway we can't have the captain going to sleep. Mountain dew anyway, your fave", she handed me.
"OH GIMMIE", I grabbed the bottle off her.
"Ehm thanks".
She nodded and we spread out.
