Prologue
Ever since the beginning of time, Life has sent Death countless gifts, and Death keeps them forever. Every once in awhile Life will make something special for Death, something flawless, perfect, and amazing. Life will also make an incredibly strong protector to protect her creation, so Death receives it. Often times the creation will never know its protector. Few have ever been in such danger that they needed to meet their protector. This is the story of one of these few, Kalex. Kalex is from Alaska, and he came down to the mainland to go to college and join the army. He has always been the strongest, the fastest, and the smartest. His entire life, his protector has been standing aside, keeping the smallest of dangers from hurting him. Her name is Myanne. She is a powerful warrior with incredible magical strength. We will start this story with Kalex as a child in the harsh Alaska winter.
