Candice POV in 3rd Person:
'I can't cope on this plane much longer!' Candice thought to herself.
"This is your Captain, We are getting ready to land in South Dakota. Please ensure your seat belts are in place. Thank You for travelling with us." The announcement echoed around the silent plane.
'Finally!' Candice's flight had been delayed by five hours in Canada, she was she could live with her Uncle after her Mum and Dad had been killed by a Shapeshifter. Her whole family were Hunters and Candice was no different. Born a hunter and will die one too.
Her uncle was the only member of her family she had left, but she hadn't seen him since she was fourteen. She was now twenty six and scared that her Uncle wouldn't really like her.
~1 Hour Later~
Candice collected her suitcases, and looked for her Uncle's car. After about four or five minutes of searching and failing, she pulled out her phone from her back pocket and called him.
"Hello?" He answered, sounding slightly grumpy.
"Hi! I'm in the carpark. Where are you?"
"Wait by the entrance, I'll come and get you."
"Oh, okay! See you in a minute."
It wasn't long until a beat up, dirty Chevrolet Chevelle SS drove up next to Candice. She peered into the window, her uncle hadn't changed one bit! she approached the door, opened it and said "Uncle Bobby?" He turned to look at her, "Ern yeah. Candice? Wow! Haven't you grown up?" Candice laughed and threw her suitcases in the backseat and climbed in next to her Uncle. "Beer?" Bobby asked her, offering her a bottle. Smiling she accepted, and began to drink. The journey wasn't long, but in the short time together, Candice and Bobbu started to talk as if they've known each other for years, about family, about hunting, about the weather, anything, they were really comfortable with each other, which put Candice at rest.
When they got to Bobby's house, Bobby asked Candice to prove that is was really her. She understood, pulled her knife from her waistband underneath her tshirt, rolled her sleeve of her black leather jacket and nipped herself with the knife to prove she bled. Her Uncle passed her a glass of holy water with salt in. Gulping it down in one, and apart from the disgusting taste, she didn't burn. Her uncle went upstairs to do something, Candice didn't hear what though. Candice could hear a phone going off, it wasn't her's so she guessed it was her uncle's. "Uncle Bobby? Your phone is ringing!"
"Okay! I'll come and get it, but one thing! Just call me Bobby."
"Ermm, okay, Bobby."
Bobby walked away to answer his phone, and a few minutes later, returned announcing, "The Winchesters are coming over. They'll be about an hour."
"Who?" Candice thought she recognised the surname but she couldn't be sure."
"They're like my own sons, hunters. Sam and Dean Winchester."
"As in John Winchester's boys?"
"Yeah. Do you remember him from last time you were here?"
"Of course I do! I saw the brothers but never got to meet them. John said I had potential as a hunter."
"I'm sure you do. Listen, don't bring up John to Sam and Dean, he died about two years ago."
"Really? That's so sad!"
"Yeah, well, things like that happen in this business."
Candice and Bobby continued talking and drinking beer until there was a loud knock on the door.
