My dance life

Some time early last year

Ok, I can't really remember why I started dancing, but I will start when I started getting into it.

It was last summer, when I was in Advance Beginner, I honestly didn't know how my life would change when my teacher made the call to put me in figures.

I walked in on June 16th (TOMORROW FOR ME!!!) to a room full of Open level dancers with the exception of Mira (who was like me) and Lily, oh and Panda who were Novice (Well not Panda who's in Advance) but back then I did not know Lily Pearson, me now bffl of dance, or in fact the other 5 girls who were tying up their Ghillies and stretching.

"Ok girls, will you please line up by age?" Mrs.James told us, while pulling up the music file.
I quickly ran to be third in line.
"Thank you, ok, height differs more then I thought it would," Mrs. James muttered.
"Ok, Bronwyn, Can you and Lizzy go stand on the bottoms side?" She asked us.
"Bronwyn step forward." Mrs. James had her step forth so I knew who she was.
"Hi, you are Liz right?" Bronwyn asked me kindly, this reminded me of something long ago. Instinctively, I reached for my infinity necklace, and tucked it under my shirt.
"Yeah," I stepped to the right because she was taller.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine." She realized I was scared.
"Thanks." I said, listening to Mrs. James instructions. She had just briefed us on a dance we all knew.
"Let's go!" The music started and we made a cross in the center of the floor.

After practice I was undoing my ghillies. When two girls came by,
"I'm Grace-Ann, this is Kate." They said and then were pulled off by their parents.
I soon saw a fellow redhead who was taller then a lot of the girls, she ducked over to me.
"What did you think?" Hailey asked.
"It looks like it's going to be a fun year!" I laughed, hugged her and ran out to join Panda In the hall.

Every thing will be all right.  Those words have stuck with me.
