"Hurry up Thea! We've gotta say goodbye to Ollie and your father before they leave!" Aurora called up the giant staircase in the foyer of the Queen mansion.

"Ugh, coming Rory!" Thea yelled back, causing Aurora to roll her eyes at her old childhood nickname, also known as Thea's favorite childish insult.

Aurora was almost three years older than Thea, and sometimes- she really felt like it.

"Thank you Aurora," Moira sighed as she bustled into the foyer with a bag and fishing pole "Sometimes I think you're the only sensible one in this household! Plus, you're the only person who can actually get Thea to listen. What would we do without you?" Moira Queen smiled and hugged Aurora, placing a quick peck on Aurora's cheek before going to send off her husband and son.

Aurora Allen was as much Moira's adoptive daughter as she was Rebecca Merlin's.

Oliver was Aurora's best friend, and unfortunately, him and his dad were going on a boating trip for two weeks.

However, over the years her and her brother spent at the Queen household visiting Oliver, Thea became one of Aurora's closest friends, and they planned on spending the two weeks that Oliver and Robert would be gone with each other and Laurel Lance--the girls' long time friend and Oliver's current girlfriend.

Aurora and her adoptive brother Tommy spent a lot of time at the Queen household. After their mother died and their father left, the Queen's became their family. The Lances also looked after Aurora and her brother, Quentin knew that Aurora and Tommy were going through a hard time, so he tried to fill a fatherly role as best as he could.

"Do I look okay?" Thea asked Aurora as she gracefully descended the grand staircase in the prettiest coral summer dress Aurora had ever seen.

"More than okay, you look stunning. Why so cute?" Aurora asked suspiciously.

"Duh, because Tommy Merlin will be there" Thea smirked

"Watch it Queenie, he's still my brother" Aurora rolled her eyes as she linked arms with Thea and lead her outside.

"Thea and Aurora! Beautiful as always you two. Come give me a hug before I'm off" Mr Queen smiled. Aurora and Thea gave Robert a hug before stepping back.

"Speedy" Oliver smirked

"Ollie" Thea mirrored Oliver, and then rolled her eyes, embracing her brother. 

"Don't do anything stupid" Oliver told his sister.

"You mean don't do anything you would do?" Aurora retorted, a slender hand on her hip. Oliver turned his annoyed gaze to the blonde girl stood next to his sister.

"Aurora, Aurora" Oliver sighed, shaking his head disapprovingly before finally breaking into a wide grin, "Get over here!"

Aurora rolled her eyes but stuck her arms out to her sides nonetheless, letting herself get picked up and spun around in Oliver's hug.

"You look very nice" Oliver quietly noted as he set her down, making sure no one else could hear him.

"Only because you're leaving " Aurora smirked mischievously. Oliver rolled his eyes and ignored the comment. "Bye Ollie" She smiled before turning around.
