Justice League: Darkness Falling

Doom is coming

Hall of Justice

Superman yells at Legion, "Doomsday is coming?! That's not possible - he's in the Phantom Zone!"

Legion shakes his head, "General Zod was able to find a way to open the Phantom Zone and bring Doomsday aboard his ship. He has him locked up somewhere on it."

Barry speaks up, "How are we supposed to defeat Zod, his army and Doomsday all at once?"

Batman steps forward, "We train with Legion and maybe we can find a way to expose their weakness."

Legion looks at Batman, "What about kryptonite? Every Kryptonian is weak against that. It's our only chance of defeating General Zod and his army."

Diana looks at everyone, "Well, let's get started and go prepare ourselves for the biggest fight of our lives." Everyone nods in agreement and they waste no time starting to train hard and plan for the war that's coming.

As days go by, Legion studies each Justice League member and tries to find their weakness. Meanwhile, Kara gets closer and closer emotionally to Legion. The Justice League start to trust Legion, and they eventually decide to make him a member of the Justice League. What they don't know is that soon Legion will betray them and he will tear the Justice League apart, one by one.

Kara walks up to Legion and hugs him. "Hi, congratulations on becoming a Justice League member! I told you that one day you'd become a great hero."

Legion nods and replies, "Thank you for believing in me." He hugs Kara back, but in his head he is thinking..I'm not a hero Kara. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but when the time comes I will have to betray the Justice League..

Kara notices the look on Legion's face and asks him, "Are you ok?"

Legion raises the corners of his lips into a gentle smile, "Never better." He pulls away and says, "Superman is waiting for me. He wants to show me something he calls 'the Fortress of Solitude'."

Kara grins and asks, "Can I come?"

Legion smiles back and nods. They both fly towards Superman's location.

Fortress of Solitude

Legion arrives and he slowly enters the Fortress of Solitude, followed by Supergirl. He's greeted by Superman.

"Legion, over here. I want to show you something." They walk to the center of the fortress and Superman stops Legion. "There's someone I want you to meet."

Legion looks around, confused, "Who else is here?"

Out of nowhere, Jor El's voice is heard, "Legion."

Legion cautiously responds, "Who's there?"

Jor El replies, "I am Jor El, Kal El's father."

Legion responds, "Yes, I know who you are now. General Zod told me about you. He told me that he wanted to save Krypton, but you wouldn't let him. You sent him to the Phantom Zone!"

Jor El slowly addresses Legion, "Yes, I did send him to the Phantom Zone. He is a dangerous man and he cannot be trusted. Do you know the reason why he was sent there?"

Legion angrily replies, "You didn't want him to save Krypton and my parents."

Jor El replies, "I'm afraid Zod lied to you..."

Zod's Spaceship

Zod gives a motivational speech and orders his army, "Prepare yourself, because today, we fight for our home planet. Today, we destroy the human race and anyone that gets in our way. We will make Earth the new Krypton and there is no one that can stop us!"

One of his soldiers replies,"What about Kal El's friends?"

Zod stares at the soldier and smirks, "Don't worry about him. That's what we have him for." Zod points at a cage containing Doomsday inside. "He will destroy Superman, along with his friends."

Zod walks up to the cage and opens the doors. He unlocks Doomsday's chains, freeing him. "You know what to do."

Doomsday nods and jumps out of the spaceship and falls into orbit towards Earth.

Inside the spaceship, Zod grins as he watches Doomsday make his way to kill Superman. "Nothing will get in my way. Krypton will rise again."

Hall of Justice

Cisco quickly calls everyone as he points towards the big screen. "There's an object coming towards Earth at full speed!"

Oliver worryingly asks, "What is it? An asteroid?"

Cisco looks over at him, "Oh man, it's Armageddon. Where's Bruce Willis when you need him?"

Wonder Woman looks confused, "What and who is that?"

Cisco glares at her, "Really? It's an old 90's movie and he's the guy that saves.. - you know what, we don't have time. After we save the world we'll go watch the movie on Netflix."

Cisco tries to get a closer view of the object, "I can't tell what it is."

Batman quickly starts typing on the keyboard, "We can use the Wayne Enterprises satellite to get a better view of the object."

A clearer view appears on screen, and everyone shouts, "Doomsday!!!"

Back at the Fortress of Solitude

Legion yells at Jor El, "You're lying! Zod has never lied to me! Why should I believe you? Zod was the one that found me when my parents left me. He raised me and taught me everything I know. He would never lie to me. He's the closest thing I have to family."

Jor El replies to Legion, "Zod has been lying to you all this time. The real reason why he was sentenced to life in the Phantom Zone was because he murdered your parents."

Legion can't believe what he just heard. He falls on his knees and punches the ground, "No! That's not possible! My parents left me and he saved me!"

Jor El continues, "Zod wanted to rule Krypton and your parents were against that. Zod was furious and with his army, he attacked them. He was able to kill them before the Kryptonian Army and I arrived. I couldn't save your parents, I'm sorry Legion. Zod escaped that day and he took you with him, but you were just a newborn. That's why you don't remember that day."

Legion stares at the ground trying not hold back tears, but they stream down his face.

Supergirl, crying, crouches down and hugs Legion, "I'm so sorry you had to find out like this."

Superman walks besides Legion and places one hand on his shoulder, "You're not alone anymore Legion, you have Supergirl and I here. Together, we can stop Zod and save this planet."

Legion stands up and looks at Superman and Supergirl, " Together, we'll defeat his army and Doomsday. As for Zod.. he's mine." Legion turns around and prepares to head to the Hall of Justice.

Supergirl grabs his arm, "Wait, what are you going to do to Zod?"

Legion stares at Supergirl and answers, "I'm going to kill him..."
