Okay, I have an OC character in this story, who sacrificed herself instead of Thalia. Do you want her to be brought back with the Golden Fleece?

I don't own anything!

Annabeth POV

Yes! I was finally on my first quest!

Argus drove us out of the countryside and into western Long Island. It was weird seeing all the things I haven't seen since the last time we had an excursion to Manhattan, which was six months ago. Piper, Frank and Grover were sitting next to me and the rest were squeezed in the back. Argus would drive us into the city then leave us.

"So far so good," Percy said. "Ten miles and not a single monster."

I gave him an irritated look. "It's bad luck to talk that way, seaweed brain."

"Please tell me why you hate me so much? Poseidon and Athena already made up!"

I folded my cap of invisibility. "So what? Your Father was hugely disrespectful to my mum. Even if they've forgiven each other, we haven't."

"Gods almighty," Percy groaned. "Are you sure you're not Hades' children? They can hold grudges for a long time."

"Yes, I was claimed by Athena," I snapped at him. "And even if I was, I do not hold grudges!"

He snorted. "Look who's talking."

Then I realised that Percy's cousins were laughing their heads off, along with Frank and Grover. Piper seemed to be fangirling.

"Percabeth! You guys are so cute!" Piper squealed. Must be the Aphrodite in her.

"I will never date a wise girl like her!" Percy shouted.

"I won't date an idiotic kelp-for-brains like him!" I shouted.

"I don't have kelp for brains!" He shouted.

"Yes you do!"

"No I don't!"

"Yes you do!"

"No I don't!"

"SHUT UP!" Piper finally shouted, her voice laced with charmspeak.

In the front seat, Argus grinned and one of his eyes on his neck winked.

Traffic slowed us down in Queens. By the time we got into Manhattan, it was sunset and starting to rain.

Argus dropped us at the Greyhound Station on the Upper East Side. Percy looked longingly at an apartment not far off, which must have been his mom's house. He had sent an iris message to him Mom explaining the situation, which had not made his Mom happy. She was pretty scared, and I honestly couldn't blame her. I just wish my Father was the same.

I guess I have to explain my life story now, don't I? Athena left me on my father's door step, in a golden cradle, with my owl necklace and cap. Back then, the owl necklace turned into a bronze sword, but when I got to the camp it turned into the dagger. He never cared for me. He didn't want a child. Then when I was five, he remarried. They had twins together. But they ignored me. They didn't want me around. They though I was purposely drawing the monsters to them. Finally, spiders started attacking me at night, but they wouldn't believe me. I got the message. I left home. I never, ever, looked back.

Then I met Luke and Flora. Flora was twelve when we met. She  was a Daughter of Demeter. She was more powerful than most children of Demeter, being able to grow many plants in a minute. Not as powerful as a big three kid though. Her weapons were her flower pendant that was her dagger and her flower bracelet that was her shield.
