four: sneak out

It's almost 12am but I couldn't sleep, so I'm scrolling through instagram, (because why not?) when someone texted me.

*unknown*: Hey!

Me: uhm... hi

*unknown*: wyd?

Me: who's this?

*unknown*: it's ethan, silly😂

Me: oh lol. Not much, just scrolling through insta.

Ethan: oh. I'm kinda bored. Wanna do somethin?

Me: idk, it's almost 12. It's pretty late.

Ethan: never tried to sneak out?

Me: nope sneaking out isn't mah thang. Lol. Plus, I just met you.

Ethan: you know what they say YODO. And you can trust me ya know.

Me: YOLO*

Ethan: No! YODO- You Only Die Once. I've lived for 16 years.

Me: oooh, lol.

Ethan: so, you sneekin out?

Me: No.

Ethan: pleeeeease

Me: N-O NO!

Suddenly I heard a thud on my window.

"Stupid birds!" I said to myself.

Once I thought the "birds" would go away, there was another thud.

I looked out the window and it was Ethan throwing pebbles.

I opened my window. "What the hell are you doing?" I whisper-yelled.

"Can I come in?"

"No!"

"Please. I'm not going anywhere until you let me in."

Oh my God!

"Ugh! Fine. Use the ladder." I said. I didn't want my parents to see him out there at 12am.

He climbed the ladder and got in my room.

"Cool room." He said. "Especially this!" He said plopping down on my bed admiring the window above it looking at the stars.

"Thanks" I said.

"The starts look beautiful, wanna get a better view?" He said laying down.

"This is the best view." I said sitting down next to him.

"I know. You beside me,-" What? NO!

"No! I mean, laying in my bad all relaxed and stuff with my WiFi."

"You. Are. Sooo boring!" He said dragging the 'o'.

"Am not." I said as I punched his arm playfully.

"Prove it?" He said smirking.

"Well then... You still up on that 'sneaking out' you said earlier?"

"Sure am." He said getting up.

"Wait, Imma change."

"No need." He said grabbing my wrist.
"Dude! I'm in my pajamas!"

"It's cute." He smiled.

"Thanks." I said sheepishly and blushed.

"Come on." He said.
