Life Turned Upside Down

When I was four years old, my life turned upside down.

My mother Jenn and my father Tyler and I were all travelling back home in the car from my older cousins birthday party, when a semitrailer ran straight through a red light and right into our car.

my father died instantly and my mother passed away later that day in hospital. I escaped with a broken radius and fibula on the right side of my body and a severe concussion. I woke up hours later in a private hospital room surrounded by close immediate family. my grandparents took me back to my home so that they could help me pack, I could no longer stay at home as none of my family could house me and take care of me. The only option was an orphanage in Nevada.

I was so young that I had no idea what was happening, all I remember was sitting in the back seat of my grandparent's car holding my teddy bear. Grandad told me that this would be my new home, I never fully understood why my parents weren't coming with me until I was older. The drive to Carson City orphanage was so long, but once we finally got there I was terrified.

I was taken down to my room which I shared with five other young girls, we became friends but slowly they all found new homes and left the orphanage. Being an orphan is tough, not having parents to talk to, no family to keep you safe, and no one staying around long enough to even get to know you. Until I was fifteen years old I never had a single visitor, no one who wanted me. I fell into a hole, I became really depressed, I felt alone, unloved and I felt so unwanted for so many years of my life.

Hey guys, Sorry this is a short chapter but I wanted to get this story started.

This chapter is boring, I know, but I needed to give a back story before going into the deep end with this :) Thank you for reading and I hope you stay around to keep reading!

I just want to add that I have been writing this fan fiction for months on paper and it is currently 65 pages long, so I will be updating regularly ;)  (this story is been an ongoing process and I start writing when ever I get 'visions' or ideas)
