Chapter 9

Jades PoV

I woke up before Louis so I decide to get up. I pealed his arm off me and got up. I go to my jewellery box and take out a locket. I turn it over reading the back.

'Always have always will'

I missed him at times, but then I remember all the fights and heart break. I remember the pain of losing him. I remember it all.

Against my better judgement I decide to put it on. I hold it close to my chest smiling. I had a cover story for Louis. I couldn't say my ex boyfriend gave it to me for my 19th birthday and I think still about him. So Instead I was just planning on going with saying it was my grandmas or something.

I walk downstairs and go into the kitchen

I start making coffee when I feel arms around my waist

"You're not as sneaky as you think" he chuckles and lays light kisses on my neck

"Stop" I chuckle and push him off

I turn around and his eyes divert to my locket

"Is that new" he says in a confused tone

Don't mess this up jade. Just say it's your grandmas

"No, it's my grandmas"

"It's nice" he smiles and opens the fridge

"We should go shopping" he says

I nod and take his hand going back upstairs

I was searching around for this certain tea Louis likes.

Tea is tea, but he says it tastes different.

I grab a box and someone bumps into me causing me to drop it

They pick it up and hand to me. I connect eyes with theres and totally freeze.

This was sure going to be interesting.

"James" my voices turns instantly nervous

"Jade" he says excited

I don't know why but I dropped the box of tea and hugged him. He hugged me back instantly holding me tighter. I start crying into his shoulder.

He grabs my face in his hands and kisses me. I kiss him back instantly feeling his lips on mine. I press my lips harder to his missing the feeling.

"Jade did you find it" Louis says from around the corner.

I didn't push him off. I just kissed him harder. Why? Because I'm an idiot.

"Jade did you- woah" Louis voice says coming closer to me

I push James off and pick up the tea

"I found it" my tone was awkward and embarrassed

"What do you think you're doing" he says coldly and crosses his arms

"Dude calm down" James immediately steps in to defend me

"I'm going to be her husband in a few months. So you back off" Louis snaps at him

"You're engaged" James tone completely changed. It was now very upset. There was heart break written all over his face.

I go over to Louis and take his hand

"Yes I am. I'm sorry that I kissed you. It was a moment of weakness"

"You know what have her" Louis snaps and pushes me to James

I gasp in shock

"I'm sorry" I say to James and rush to Louis

I run off to him and grab his arm. He turns around giving me a death glare.

"I know I kissed another girl, I know we've had our differences and I know not everything is perfect, but I at least thought I meant something to you" he shakes his head at me at the end and walks off.
