Arriving at the airport, Collin and I were immediately ushered to our plane. Being a spy has its benefits, such as not having to go through security.
Walking up to the private plane, I can only imagine what an outsider would think of it. Seeing a nice, sleek private plane in a small Alaskan airport could raise some eyebrows.
Approaching the stairway to the plane, Collin and I were greeted by a perky, blonde flight attendant with her hair so tight in a bun it looked painful.
"Hello, thank you for flying with us!" The flight attendant said with to much enthusiasm. "I have your itineraries right here so here you both go. Now just follow me and I will seat you." With that she sent a flirtatious smile toward Collin. Umm...ya I think he is a little young for you I mentally stated as we followed her into our cabin and to our seats that have Collin and me facing each other .
"Now we ask you to remain in your assigned seats until the seat belt sign goes off after take off," the flight attendants boring speech began. "We will serve refreshments at that time also. The provider of the plane has also stated that you may order whatever you like."
Ooh fancy I mentally replied again, just ready for this to be over with. Finally at the end of her tirade, she finished with explaining the safety precautions, procedures, and also by sending Collin another flirty smile while walking away. She just doesn't give up.
Glancing down at the itineraries I notice that we will be arriving at the Los Angeles Airport in four and a half hours. Great.
As the plane started making its way toward its assigned air strip and then stopping for clearance, Collin decided to make conversation.
"You know you have pretty blue eyes," he said in a voice and sporting look that he thought would make me melt and be putty in his hands. I have to admit it did effect me a little bit, but I wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of knowing.
"Thank you, but I thought you were more original than that," I said sending him a look telling him that I knew what he was trying to do.
"Hey I tried," he replied with a genuine smile that actually did make my checks flush a little but.
I quickly turned away to look out the window just as I felt the surge of the plane start as it tried to get off the ground. I really hoped he could not read the emotions I just experienced then.
After that it grew quite. Trying to keep busy I grabbed a magazine from the side pocket. As I scanned over the scandals the familiar ding let me know that we could now move.
"You can go now," I said in an encouraging tone without looking away from the magazine.
Much to my dismay he stayed and also making an appearance was a pressure being applied to my knees.
"Please get your feet off of me," I spat still looking at my magazine hoping he will get the memo soon.
"I am good, but thanks for the offer this position is rather comfortable," he said in a tone that would suggest he was smirking.
Looking over the brim of the magazine my suspicions were answered. I also noticed the blonde flight attendant heading my way. Trying to hide the smirk that was now sporting on my face, I quickly made sure it was covered.
"Refreshments?" she perkily stated sending me a fake smile and Collin an over dramatic girly one.
Just as she uttered that word I felt the pressure from my legs removed. Which made my smirk grow.
"Umm...excuse me?" I started "Is there by any chance a private room, I'm not feeling so good." Using the best of my acting abilities.
"Yes if you go up the aisle and through those doors will be the room to your right you may lie down and and there is a TV if you end up feeling better." She replied with a smile hoping to get Collin alone. Well here is your chance.
"Thank you," and with that I got up slowly acting like I wasn't in much of a hurry. As I passed the refreshment cart I took a bag of peanuts.
"Thanks for these too," I smugly said sending a smile over my shoulder in her direction.
"Oh, you are welcome," she said with an icy undertone.
I walked through the door at the end of the aisle and into a room with another door to the right. Well at least her directions were right.
Opening the door I was greeted to a sleek, king bed clad in black silk. Resting on the wall across from the bed sat the thinnest and largest TV I had ever seen. I could get used to this, I thought while throwing myself onto the bed hardly feeling the beds presence underneath me. It was that soft.
Picking up the thin remote on the side of the bed, where it landed after my massive plop, I started searching the massive amounts of channels. Getting the peanuts out, I started munching on them while starting the movie Avatar.
Halfway through the movie my eyes started drooping. The exhaustion from all the events that have happened came crashing like a wave sending me into an endless darkness.
