Chapter 24

{Earlier}

Tiffany's POV:

My Pepsi almost shot out of my nose when Connor cracked another joke about his past. We were having a great time eating at our favourite place and hearing stories that we all had to share.

Just then Sam stands up from his seat.

"Ah Tiffany.. Can I talk to you in private for a moment?"

I nod wiping my face and setting down my taco. We walk to the end of the restaurant were the waiting seats were. He gestures for me to have a seat and I do. I look up at him and wait for him to speak.

"Okay, so I've been thinking a lot.. About us.. And I've came to realization that I shouldn't care about what you enjoy doing. I mean, if you smoke.. What you smoke.. Then I'm okay with that. Even though I want you to stop because it's bad for you, I won't leave you. In fact I'm willing to help you."

I look at him for a moment. I gently place my small hand on top of his and give him a warm smile.

"I'd like that." He smiles and I stand up to give him a hug.

Once we get back to the table, everyone is still laughing and having a good time. I look out of the corner of my eye to see Jordan talking to a girl. She looks like a nice person. I smile to myself then turn to everybody.

After a minute or so of talking, I open my mouth wide to take a bite of my taco. My mouth waters once again as it slowly makes it's way to my mouth. Instead of having it's wonderful flavour fill my mouth something else happened. All I heard was faint screaming and before I knew it I was heading towards a long dark tunnel.. And I could see the light.

{Present Time}

Alexis' POV:

I felt like I didn't make a great first impression on Jordan's friends. Especially Chloe. She now hated me and thinks I'm the reason their friend is dead. I sweep my golden blonde hair out of my face and sink down in one of the chairs. I quickly put my earbuds in and watch some YouTube videos.

After awhile of that I play some of the songs that I downloaded on the plane. I see something out of the corner of my eye to see Jordan screaming at me. I quickly rip my headphones out of my ears and glare at her. "What?!"

"We.. We got to go." Her voice seemed shaky. I slowly stood up with a puzzled and concerned look on my face. She quickly grabbed my arm and yanked me closer to her. I picked up my suitcase and followed her.

"Where are we going."

"Look-" She was cut off by Ali.

"Jordan!" She ran up to us catching her breath.

"Yeah?"

"I.. I'm sorry. For being on Chloe's side with this. It really wasn't your fault that Tiffany.. Yeah." I could tell she'd been crying and couldn't even talk about what had happened. Jordan gave Ali a warm smile them pulled her into a hug. Just then, Connor walked up to our group of three. I gave us all a small smile and whispered something in Ali's ear. She nodded then looked at us.

"Be right back." She beamed then her and Connor walked away.

"So where are we going?" I reminded Jordan.

"You know what?" Her tone seemed a lot happier. "Never mind." She said waking away.

Suddenly a policeman came up to us and asked if he could interview Jordan real quick. As they walked away I looked around for the person I was meeting here in the first place.

I walk up to a dark shadow. "She's dead?" The dark shadow asks.

"I think so." I answer.

"You made friends with Jordan?"

"Yes."

"Good. Are plan is now fully In action." The shadow says. Our plan was in action and Chloe was next..

ATHOURS NOTE:

Okay guys I'm so sorry I haven't updated in awhile, like I said school is very stressful this year with homework and stuff, plus I had a huge writers block. So I'm so sorry for that! I am trying my best, I swear!

But I feel like the book isn't going in a good direction.. I don't know I really need some inspiration for this book but I do have some news.. I'm writing a third book! I'm writing up to chapter 30 if things go as planned. If they don't then it might just be a few more or a few less chapters. But other then that.. I'M GONNA GO! Okay I totally just ripped off Connor Franta right there!
