Hi guys! Firstly thank you so much for choosing to read my book, and I hope you like it so much that you add it to your libraries! I do make mistakes whilst I try so hard not to so I apologise in advance profoundly if you do find any mistakes. I will be doing a very short authors note (A/N) at the beginning and end of each chapter so please don't forget to read those, and I hope you enjoy the book!
Love and purple mangorins, Mandy! xx

"Gaa... Din!"
"Oh," her mother said sweetly, cooing at the precious baby, "Pardon, what a lovely first word. I'm sure she will grow up to be an awfully well mannered little thing!"
"Gaa... Din, Gaa... Din!" She exclaimed
14 years later, I sat at my dressing table and combed through my hair. I gently touched the key my mother left me, after sadly leaving, when I was six. I remember her words clear in my mind and heart... Take this, and I will always be with you. There will come a time and place for you to use it, and don't hurry, it will come to you my dear. I will never forget you....And then she closed her eyes, never to open them again.
Nine years had passed since the day she died, but I remember her boldly in my mind whilst it pains me to think about her.
Picking up my powder, I looked at the front with the beautiful golden engraved patterns swirled into the wooden casing. I opened it and smelled it, I don't know what it is about old fashioned makeup that makes it smell so good. I carefully swirled my big face brush around in the powder, whilst being careful not to gather too much product on the brush as I wanted to preserve it, it was one of the many precious items from my mother. I lifted the brush to my face and gently swept the brush over my face. I closed the case and picked up a pink lipstick. I glided it across my lips, and finished off with a sweep of blush and a swipe of mascara over both sets of eyelashes. I was ready.
