I woke up. It was a regular morning just like any other morning in Washington.
It was raining, and cold. The only difference was that me and my family had jsut gotten back from disneyland two days ago, and today me and my dad would leave for Nebraska.
We were leaving for my First Roller Skating Nationals EVER! and i couldnt of been more excited to leave that rainy, sad state. even if it was only for a little while.
The thing i didn't know though was that, that would be the last time i saw my sister not in-and-out of hospitals.
Driving to Nebraska i slept the whole time basically.
after figures, freestyle, and creative solo competitions i had it was time for dance (my favorite)
This was the earliest one, it was soo early in the morning i had to go to bed around 7:30 pm
While i was in bed my dad was awake, my mom called and said " Gloria is throwing up and is not answering any of my questions. I asked her where she was and she didn't know. I'm going to take her to the hospital."
Later that night he got another call she said, "They were transporting Gloria to anothe hospital and she went into a dibetic come *crying*, they doctor said that you should get here as soon as possible, because she might die."
So the next day my dad acted completely normal, and after my dance competition the judges posted the results, i studied it for about 5 minutes before i found my name.
I was 3 away from finals. i told my dad and he sighed with relief. But i didnt take anything from it.
Right then he sat me down and said " Lillia your sister went into a diabetic come last night, overall she might die, and we need to get home ASAP!"
We rushed out of the skating rink, went straight to the hotel, packed up, and drove for the airport.
We left our car in Nebraska and took an emergency flight back home.
