I'll Miss You

Chapter 1

*bzzt bzzt*

I look at my phone to see a text appear.

Madison: You Coming Tonight?

I didn't really want to respond but its not like I had a choice. She's my best friend, Madison and if I don't go, she'll know why. I put my phone in my denim jeans and started to walk. I could feel my phone still vibrating in my pocket. I took it out again, still the same person. This time more texts appeared rapidly.

Madison: Lizzie Answer Me! Fine, whatever don't respond. Just do what you did last time! See you at school "best friend."

Now I really knew she was pissed at me. I didn't know what to do other then a response of, "ok." But she would know I'm lying. My shoulders started to ache for high school text books aren't so great on your back.

*bzzt bzzt*

" Oh my god, I get it your mad!" I thought to myself taking out my phone. This time it wasn't from anyone I knew. It was from "unknown" as said on the caller ID.

Unknown: Hey! Are you almost here?

I'm sorry do I know you? :Me

Kyle: Yea! I'm Kyle, remember?! We met in English.

Kyle, I think you have the wrong number...:Me

Kyle: Wait, what do you mean? Aren't you Brandon?

Nope! My name's Lizzie but I hope Brandon comes to pick you up! :Me

Kyle: Thanks! So far he's late... See ya around!

Yea. :Me

I put my phone back into my pocket and started to walk once again. I took my time looking at all the wonderful things around me. There were trees and birds throughout every corner! Its not such a far walk to my school but I'm still hoping to get a car for my birthday next month! I feel things will be different this time of year. But its only the first week, so what could go wrong?!

I breathed in the fresh air and closed my eyes. I could feel all the stress lift off my shoulders but as I slowly opened them back up, it all came back. I kept thinking of the thing Madison wanted me to go to. It's only just the beginning and already there's a party. And I was invited...
