Pilot

Grayson's POV

Hi, I'm Grayson or Gray for short. I'm about 5'4, I have gray green eyes with medium length jet black hair and I was born in 1995. I'm alone with my friends Haruka and Grin. Haruka is a 94 liner, she has long white hair, ice blue eyes and she is 5'2. She also wears glasses. Grin is a 95 liner, she has long green hair and she has hazel eyes, she is 5'5 and she also wears glasses. Grin got her name because she has a huge cut on the left side of her mouth from something that has happened in the past but anyways enough about what we look like.

There has been an outbreak of an incurable disease and we didn't know what it was until we saw the dead come back to life so yeah basically 'zombies'. Unfortunately it has happened and none of us know how or why it happened but it infected and spread through the world in about a week and five days or so. I honestly don't know how it spread so fast but it did. It mainly targeted the elder and the young, plus whomever had weak immune systems. Then basically people have died from there.

It has been about three weeks now since this whole thing started and I'm still scared although it won't keep me from fighting for as long as I have to honestly but still yes, it is very scary. I have been having trouble sleeping but then again, who wouldn't. Haruka, Grin and I have found a house outside the city. As of right now, we have come to a gas station not far from where we have camped out and are getting as many supplies as we can. I have a dufflebag while the other two have camping bags for food. I have my double bladed swords, my katana, and my three lucky throwing knives, Haruka has two katanas and throwing stars, and Grin has a belt with bombs, bullets and she has three throwing knives with twin 9mm pistols.

We were walking in silence so we wouldn't be heard. As we reached the gas station I took out my katana and we walked around the gas station to make sure everything was clear. As soon as we see that it is safe, we start taking what we need. I was just locking the door when I saw someone run by really quick and I just gave them a confused look as the man had seen a walker and took a left and then I see two more boys run by. I whisper shout for the girls to tell them to come to the window and then i see six more boys run by yelling with at least two dozen walkers after them and I literally facepalmed but it wasn't my problem and then the girls walked back to get some food and I stayed to stand guard in case one of the walkers decide to break through the glass.

As I went to get a drink one of the boys came and banged on the glass and I whipped my head around to see a man banging on the glass trying to get my attention...well he got my attention alright. along with all the walkers. I groaned and unlocked the door. I grabbed my double bladed swords and handed one to him then to a really cute guy and the Haruka grabbed her other katana and gave it to one with red hair and Grin gave one of her guns to a man that had really short hair. There were still three boys who didn't have weapons so we had to defend them and I took out about seven zombies, Haruka took out five, Grin took out seven and the boys worked together to take out the remaining four....wow...they aren't very bright...hmm. I walked up to one of the shorter boys

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING SCREAMING LIKE THAT AT THE TOP OF YOUR LUNGS" I yelled at the top of mine and slammed the kid boy into one of the gas pumps and he groaned and looked up. A taller boy came up to me "You just yelled at the top of yours. What gives you that right huh" He raised his voice and Grin had shot a zombie that was almost a yard away

"Stop yelling" Haruka said and looked at me. I groaned and stepped back from the man and walked towards her

"We could have gotten killed!" I said exaggerating

Haruka lightly smacked my face

"Child you know damn well you are capable of this stuff so don't even give me that missy" She smirked and I grinned and the boys just looked at us

"That was rude of you to push Baekhyun down like that you know" One of the taller boys said that had one of my double bladed swords.

"Hey give that back" I said and went to reach for it but he held it above my head

"Uh oh" Haruka said

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" Grin said and crossed her arms with an amused look

"And why is- OW!" The boy said as I kneed him in the gut and he dropped my sword

"Thank you" I said and went towards the other boy that had my sword and grabbed it then went inside to put them away

"So my name is Kai" One of the boys said

"Okay? So? Is that supposed to matter" I said and Haruka chuckled

"Sehun look. She is perfect for you" Kai said and chuckled and the one I had kneed in the gut groaned and I gave him a disgusted look and the girls couldn't stop laughing

"Shut up" I said and they dropped on their knees and laughed

"Hey, look spending more time on your knees I see. Well there are nine guys that would probably enjoy it" I said and they stopped laughing and blushed. So did the boys and I chuckled

"Yeah okay anyways goodbye, we are on our way" Harkua said and started walking back to the gas station and I followed. Grin stayed and I could hear her talking to the boys.

"Do you know who they are?" I asked Haruka and she shook her head. We finished getting food and drinks and Grin was sitting on the ground with them talking and laughing.

"Come on" I said and grabbed her from behind and picked her up

"But they are nice. Can we keep them" She asked giving me her puppy dog face and I groaned

"NO. They obviously don't know how to defend themselves so it would be better if they just died. Just like any others that didn't know how to defend themselves." I said with an ice cold voice and expression. I swear. I felt Grin shiver under my touch and I saw a few of the boys shiver at what I said.

"But if you are so good, why don't you teach us" The one that goes by Sehun said and smirked and I wanted to slap him right then and right there.

"No. I don't have time" I said and Haruka nodded her head.

"We can't stay in one spot for to long anyways. That is why we actually came here. We are leaving at dawn tomorrow" Haruka said and instantly regretted it and facepalmed

"So you can teach us for tonight though" The one with red hair said

"Just shut the fuck up. We are not taking you" I raised my voice, clearly annoyed

"Fine. Then if they can't come then I won't go with you" Grin said quietly and Haruka and I stopped and turned around

"Come on Grin, don't be like that" Haruka said

"Be like what? I'm trying to help innocent lives and you are basically saying they are a waste of time and space. You guys are assholes" she said and I just looked at her with a cold expression

"Fine. I can stand to lose one more person...I just thought it wasn't going to be you" I said and turned around and continued to walk until Haruka grabbed my shoulder and sighed

"Gray. I know you don't want to take them and I don't either but we can't lose Grin." She said as my back was still faced towards her. I could hear Grin start to sniffle and I rolled my eyes and groaned really loud which turned into a yell. I started to breath normal again and turned around.

"That was also kind of harsh" Haruka said but I ignored her and grabbed two boys by the arm and dragged them with me. I looked at Grin and I saw her smile. I put my head down and my bangs fell in my face and I gave a sly smile.
