You say you're protecting me

So you take my things away

You say it's for the best

As you wrap me up like a babe

Throw me in a room blacker than your heart

But I still have my sense of humor

And I'm laughing in the dark

No, nothing's funny

'Cept How you take everything from me

And you still can't steal it  all

See how my eyes still have their spark?

Oh, how you hate us

Get over it, bitch, it's contagious

Oh, yeah, you thought you could contain us?

We've already left our mark.

So pretty soon, even you, will be
