My morning:

"You're such an idiot." - Rora

"Well sorry. Fûck." - Brett

"Hey! Language!" - Aunt Mel (from somewhere unseen)

"Sorry, Mrs Broussard. But your niece is annoying as heck." - Brett

"You're an idiot as heck, Brett. Who wakes up somebody like that?" - Rora

"Who attacks someone like that?" - Brett

"I told you I'm sorry already! Drop it!" - Rora

"You were the one that brought it up!" - Brett

"Yeah, because you're an idiot!" - Rora

"Can somebody please explain to me what they are fighting about this time?" Danny looked to me with wide hazel eyes as he sat down beside me on the couch, "I'm so lost. But it looks like a good show." Rudely, he took a handful of my dry cereal in my bowl and shoved it into his mouth like popcorn.

"Hands off," I pulled my breakfast away, narrowing my eyes under my glasses. "Brett woke up Rora by ripping the blankets off of her like a perv and she attacked him." I shrugged, watching the two continue to go at it.

"Oh, Brett's an airhead with that kind of stuff." He chuckled, his eyes flickering back to the couple. "Tyler's the creep. Brett's just clueless about girls and their needed privacy. He's a stupid egghead." Danny shrugged, nudging Claire's leg with his foot as she lost herself in her book.

"Go away, Danny," she grumbled, moving away as he continued to push her towards the edge of the chair she was sitting on.

"Stupid egghead? Doesn't egghead mean that he's smart?" With a sigh, I gave him the rest of my cereal as he continued to stare at it like a lost puppy while simultaneously annoying the hell out of his poor little sister.

"Yeah, Brett's practically a genius. Big ol' nerd like you." He teased, jumping up from the couch suddenly and pulling his sisters feet out from under her as she screamed in surprise and lost her place in her book. Stealing her fluffy socks right off of her feet, he went and pummelled Brett like a savage beast.

"Dude, take your fûcking meds!" Brett huffed, trying to get out of the headlock Danny held him in easily while roaring like a caveman.

"Mom!" Claire shouted, "Danny needs a freaking double dosage today!" With a glare at the grinning fool, she stomped her bare feet out of the living room.

"I'm glad you're not a boy with ADHD." Aurora suddenly dropped into the couch face first, sprawling her arms over my lap before folding her hands under her chin and looking up at me.

"I don't know, I really like those socks you're wearing today." I joked, tickling her waist.

"Try it and I'll tell Liam and Ashton that you love them." She smiled evilly, kicking her feet up and down. She reminded me of playful but naughty kitten. If she had a tail it would be wagging mischievously right about now.

"Girls, lets head out to the mall in ten minutes: do you think you can be ready by then?" Melissa stood at the door, little John bouncing on her hip with a face full of drool.

Rora was already running for the stairs as I chuckled and nodded, following my sisters smoke trail.

"What do you want?" Aurora frowned, crossing her arms as she showed Brett her back just as we were about to leave for the mall.

"To say sorry," he mumbled, his tanned face growing a dark pink as he reached out to her, pulling her around to face him. "I've never had a friend that was a girl." He confessed as Claire and I giggled to each other quietly while Danny rolled his eyes with a head shake as he helped buckle in Jonathan's carseat. "I'm not really sure what's okay and what's not okay to do. But I'll do better --I swear."

Rora bit her lip, running her hand through her curly dark hair in contemplation. "Well, I guess I can forgive you then." She finally said, making a smile spread on Brett's face. "I'll see you later." She smiled back, patting his shoulder awkwardly before skipping off to us.

"Well, would you look at you," I nudged her, "I see you just got your own football playing friend."

"Now I need one," Claire pouted, "I feel so left out." Her brown puppy dog eyes pleaded us as if we could snap our fingers and get her one.

Aurora put a hand on her shoulder condescendingly, "Don't worry, little Cuz'. Your time will come once you've grown up like us." She smiled wickedly as Claire stuck her tongue out at her.

"Get in the car, girls," I chuckled, already in the front seat of the SUV with Melissa who was quietly arguing with Ryan.

"I can't do that to him, Mel." Ryan shook his head, closing his eyes as if the idea was making him sick to his stomach. "He's a good man."

"If he's unable to handle this alone we have to do something, Ryan." Melissa rubbed her forehead annoyedly before noticing me and forcing a smile on her clearly stressed out face. "Don't you look sweet." She smiled, checking out Aurora's work --she refused to go to the mall with me dressed in my favourite pair of overalls and t-shirt. Instead I was stuck in flowery loose shorts with a crop top.

"Thanks," I scrunched my nose up, readjusting my glasses and pushing my hair back from my face --which was also forbidden to be up by Rora.

"Alright, buckle in." She eyed the young gossiping girls in the back before blowing a kiss to Ryan and pulling out of the driveway.

Rora owed me for this. It's not that I didn't like the mall. It's that I hated the mall. Fashion and I were not on the same page and everything about the mall reminded me of that. So every time I went, I felt as if I stuck out like a sore thumb. Excuse me for not enjoying that feeling.

She would be my slave for months for this and she knew it.
