The Good:
Being a Psychologist has certain benefits. You seem to always know what to say, you can provide empathy to the people who need a helping hand, and you can save someone from making some night their last. You are a protector of people, and none shall know suffering while you observe your surroundings. You feel good with every person you help, and it gives you the motivation to help more people. The Bad:
There are also terrible, horrible things about being a Psychologist. There's always that one person just out of reach, and you can see them suffering. You can't help them in fear of triggering them as you approach. All you can do is watch. It no longer matters how many people you've saved, only that you failed to save that one. People assume you have total control of your emotions, and never need a place to express your troubles, so you break over time, piece by piece. The Ugly:
You have to appear strong to the people you wish to help, even if they are in better shape than you. You drive yourself insane pretending to be okay, pretending to be someone else. You can't let yourself remember the past, because it will damage so many futures. So you do nothing, you absorb all problems and solve everyone else's, the univers will use you as a punching bag, and you are not allowed to punch back.
