Chapter 1 - Realization

When my alarm started going off i wanted to throw it across the room but...it was the first day of school so i decided to start it off as a good one. I jumped up and started getting ready for school.

I've definitely changed.. I went from brown hair to blue and black thanks to my friend Leo who convinced me to dye my "boring hair" into a "inspiring hairdo" more like a inspiring mess. I had hair dye everywhere! Seriously like on every piece of clothing i had.

But i have to say it looked awesome! Back to my clothes. I decided to wear my normal black skinny jeans and a rainbow kitty shirt. Which i have to say shows off my sexuality perfectly. "Skylar, Leo's here" my mom yells from the stairs. "Ok mom" i yell back as putting on my black converse then running downstairs. As i get into Leo's car he hugs me. "Omg i missed you" he yells as he's hugging me. "Me too" i yell back.

The whole car ride there we listened to music and talked about our summer. Mine was pretty boring because my friends were either in a different state,country,or camping with no service. I was laying on my bed sleeping most of my summer but it was still good. By the time we got to school Leo and i were ready to jump out of the car with excitement.

As we pull up we see Abby and Tie kissing each other. Leo and i both "awwed" out loud at the same time and started laughing our asses(butts) off.

Ok here's the story about Abby and Tie they have liked each other since the day they've met but neither of them until last year asked the other out. Which was Abby by the way. Anyways ever since they started dating they haven't been able to keep their hands off each other. Leo and I got out of the car and as soon as we walked up to them Abby let go of Tie.

Then ran straight to me and hugged the life out of me. "I'm being strangled to death, Leo help" i say. It takes him and Tie to get her off of me...which she wasn't happy about. "I just missed you so much sky." she says with a pout on her face. "Well if you missed me you might not want to kill me right way" i say with a small laugh which gets her to smile. If you haven't noticed yet me and Abb's are best friends and she is the only one who can call me sky.

I'm the only one who can call her Abb's and if you do i swear you will regret it. "The bells going to ring soon so we should go to our lockers" Henry says. I don't know what's been up with him. He has been acting so jealous when me and Abby have been hanging out... maybe he thinks i'm hitting on her?? I don't know but seriously like dude chill. "Sky come on" Abb's says as she pulls me towards the school.

We get to our lockers and pile all our stuff into them and head to our first class before the bell rings.

I sit down in my seat right as the bell rings. My teacher Miss.Medall starts class immediately but gets interrupted about halfway through class by a....really cute girl walking in. She talks to the teacher for about a minute then turns to the class and waves.

She says "Hi, I'm Mattie and i just moved here from Maine and i guess a little about myself is that i travel alot with my family but were finding a place to settle down at because i'm turning 18 soon and i love photography." Wow... photography well she's the best piece of artwork I've seen.

My thoughts get interrupted by her sitting next to me. I can't help but stare at her until suddenly she turns her head and catches me staring. I can feel my face heat up with embarrassment. I turn my head to see if she was still watching me.
