Chapter 1
I quietly snuck around the corner, keeping my eyes open for any signs of movement. I crept down the long hallway at a silent run. At the end of the hallway was two tall, black doors. I hurried to them and stopped, my hand dangling over the handle.
"I'm at the control room,"I spoke into my earpiece," do you copy Agent 637". I waited a few seconds for him to reply.
"Copy",he said," I am located on the opposite wall of the room, hidden behind the crates of illegal goods. There are six guards in the room; heavily armed. Be careful". I smiled
"Don't worry, it'll be a piece of cake" I assured him.i pulled my pistol out of by holster and cocked it. I took a deep breath, reached down, and yanked the door open.
I bursted through the door, firing at the guards closest to me. I shot the first one in the chest and the second one in head. I ran and hide behind a large wooden crate. Bullets whizzed by my face as I reloaded my gun. I heard Agent 637 somewhere on the opposite side of the huge loading room. The room was full of the large crates, making the room maze-like.
I put the barrel of my gun against the corner of the crate and carefully peeked around the box. There was one guard behind a crate to my left firing blindly in my direction. I waited till he reloaded and popped out behind the corner to shoot the fatal blast that ended his life. I bursted it from behind the crate and crept through the maze of boxes, heading in the direction of sounds of gunfire.
Soon, I found the other three guards, firing at my fellow agent. I hid behind another crate to the left of the guards. Using the element of surprise,I shot one square in the chest. The other guards noticed me and began aiming for the box I was hidding behind. They were so occupied with me that they forgot all about my partner. He easily shot one of them in the head, leaving only one guard left. He realized that he was outnumbered and tried to run, but I raised my gun and shot him. He crumpled to the floor, already dead.
I stood up from my squatting position and walked over to my partner. He stood up and my heart skipped a beat. He combed back his brown hair from his forehead. He looked up and his sky blue eyes krinkled as he smiled at me.
"Nice shot" he said as he put his gun back into its holster on his belt. He was sweating, slightly, which mad his tight black t-shirt stick to his skin, forming around his muscular chest.
"Thanks"I smiled back, placing my gun into it's holster. He looked around and whistled.
"That's a lot of drugs" he exclaimed, " you think they'll notice if we take some". I looked at him, shocked. That's when he began to laugh and I knew he was just kidding. He laughed loudly. It was the kind of laugh that made you want to laugh. It took all my power to restrain myself and not laugh. I managed to give him a dirty look with a slight smirk.
I pulled out my small, handheld phone and called the headquarters
"Mission Acomplished. The goods are in our possession". I reported.
"Great work Agents. Now get out of there, befriend someone sees you"
"Roger that" I hung up the phone and turned to my fellow agent.
"Let's get out of here" we made are way through the maze of crates and dead bodies to a door that read 'exit' in big glowing red letters. We bursted through the door, silently. Cool, fresh air blew into my face, and I breathed it in graciously. It was dark out; The stars ubove my head twinkled like lights.
We made are way through the darkness, staying close to the buildings wall so we would not be sceen easily. At the end of the deserted street, our BMW sat there, waiting for us.
We,easily, got to the car undetected. I hope into the passenger seat and buckled up. My partner turned the key into the ignition and we drove of without a word.
"Nice, work Tomlinson" I turned and smiled at him. He glanced at me and smiled back.
"Same to you, White" he turned his attention back on the road. There was a long, awkward silence as we drove down the smooth highway. I looked out the window, reminiscing on the scene . It was sprinkling, the water droplets slide down the window. The sun was coming up, lighting up the world a little bit at a time. It reminded me of the time when my brother and I were young and we were outside, playing in the hillside on the outskirts of London. We would take wooden boards from our shed when it started to rain and we would race down the big, towering hills to the bottom till the sun came up. We would laugh and play all night, and come home, muddy and exhausted.
I was jolted out of my flashback as a car horn soimded through he air. I glance down to look in the rearview mirror and see him, staring at me. I can feel my cheaks turn a bright red color as he half-smiles at me.
I peel my eyes he's of of his defined face and stared out the window as the rolling fields flew past. I examined the hillside until I realized the we were pulling off the highway.
" Are you hungry" he asked, glancing over at me . I smiled at him
"Starving" I replied. He smiled back at me and pulled into a McDonalds parking lot. He parked in the parking lot and reached behind his seat. He came up with a bundle of clothes. I forgot that we still had our skin tight black uniform on.
He handed me a bundle of clothes and I hoped in the backseat. I tugged the top of my suit and pulled it down my back. I adjusted my bra and reached for the shirt. When I did this, I noticed I'm watching me from the corner of my eye. I felt myself blush and quickly pulled the dark red shirt on. I sat ther feeling his eyes on my back. Then he spoke in his rich, deep voice.
" Sky?" He asked and I tensed as he said my first name, which he never does. This tells me that he wants to ask me something personal, so I returned the the favor.
"Yes, Louis" I turned around and smiled at him. He stared at me for a few seconds, then replied.
" never mind" he shook his head, turned around, and began to undress. I had to peel my eyes off of of his bare, muscular back. I finished pulling on my pants and pulled my long, blonde hair out of its tight ponytail and It flowed down my shoulders. I turned to see Louis was dressed and ready to go also.
"Lets do this" he smiled at me and we both exited the car and slammed the doors behind us.
