Nalu: First, Last Love

Chapter 1

Lucy and Gray have been together ever since they where kids. They've always been best friends. Neither has ever dated anyone. Lucy is hiding a deep secret. She has feelings for Gray. She's had them for years. She was planning on finally asking him what he thought of her this week. They're 17 now and she had to know. They formed a team in fairy tail and it's just been the two of them for quite some time. A celestial Mage working with an ice wizard. Everything changed when Fairy Tail got two new guild members. Lucy's (POV) I walked over to set with Gray and Erza. She's one of my best friends at the guild. Mira came in the doors followed my two unfamiliar faces. "Guys, we have 2 new  members joining the guild today. Say hello to Juvia Lockser and Natsu Dragneel. They are originally from the guild Sabertooth. Please treat them with kindness." Mira said and walked behind the bar serving drinks to Cana and the others. Both of the new members stood there in silence in the middle of the guild. I looked over at Gray who was staring at Juvia. "Gray?" I questioned. "Lucy, let's go talk to the new guild members." He said walking their way. I followed. "Hey guys." Gray said. "Hey." Natsu said. Juvia looked to shy to even say anthing. "You guys hungry?" Gray asked. Natsu's eyes lit up. "I can always eat." He said. "Aye!" A small blue cat with wings replied. I had just noticed him. "Happy. Why you hiding?" Natsu asked the blue exceed. Happy looked at me. "Do you have food?" He asked which made me say aww. "Follow me guys" gray said getting them food from Mirajane. I say at the table in front of those two. Gray came back with the food and sat beside me. "So...what's your magic Juvia?" Gray asked. She fell silent. "Sorry, she's always been pretty shy around others. Mine's fire." Natsu replied. My eyes widened. "Fire? What a rare magic." Gray said. "No one has seen a firs Mage for over 100 years." I said wowed. He smiled. "That makes me cool then right" Natsu asked looking at me. I shot a confused look at him. "Umm...sure" I said pleasing him. "M-my magic I-is water." Juvia said. Gray smiled. "Wow that's really similar to mine.

  It's ice." He said flirting a bit, which made me mad. Juvia blushed. "So Natsu, how old are you both?" I asked getting off the subject. "18. And Juvias 17." Natsu replied. "That's cool. Me and Gray are both 17." I said. Natsu starred at me and Gray for a sec. "Are you two a couple or something?" He asked. Before I could respond. "Nah, nothing like that." Gray said still looking at Juvia. I looked at Gray who was smiling at her. My heart just dropped. Have I already lost? I wondered.
