Chapter 10: I like Jade

*Jake's P.O.V.*

"Jake, did something happen?" Jinxx asked me after everyone left.

I sighed.

"Let's sit down." Jinxx offered.

We sat on the couch and I opened up.

"Okay, you can't tell Andy because he will literally kill me and then you'll need a new guitar player because I'll be dead." I told Jinxx.

"I won't tell anybody." He said.

"Okay, well, something happened between me and Jade." I said.

"Oh dear god, Jake. Please don't tell me you fucked her." Jinxx said.

"No! I didn't do anything like that." I said.

"Okay, good. So, what happened?" Jinxx asked.

"Uhh, we may have... Kissed?" I said.

It came out more like a question.

Jinxx's eyes widened.

"You kissed her?" He said.

"Yeah..." I drifted off.

He sighed and I looked up. He was shaking his head.

"Oh, Jake. Why?" He asked.

"I don't know." I said. "I mean,"

"What?" Jinxx asked.

"I kinda like her..." I said quietly.

I spoke so quietly I'm surprised Jinxx heard me.

"Jake, she's 16." Jinxx said.

"I know, but she's cute." I said.

"You can't date her. Not only is that illegal, Andy would also kick your ass." Jinxx said.

"I know." I said. "But the thing is, I think CC likes her too."

"What?" Jinxx asked, even more confused.

"It makes sense. He always acts weird around her and he looks at her a lot." I said.

"Yeah, that is true." Jinxx said.

"He was also really defensive and mad back there." I said.

"Yeah, he was." Jinxx said.

Just then, CC entered the back lounge and sat next to me.

"I have to tell you guys something. It's killing me, but you can't tell Andy." CC blurted out.

"What?" Jinxx asked.

"I like Jade." CC said.

He sighed afterwards.

"Wow, that feels really good to get off my chest." He said.

"Oh, shit." Jinxx said.

He brought his palm to his face. I blushed a little and felt almost angry at CC.

"Don't get super angry at me, I know it's bad but I can't help it." CC said.

"No, that's not it." Jinxx said.

"What is it then?" CC asked.
