Chapter One

It's been two months since I found out, I'm now happily three months pregnant. I was happy but still kind of sad because nobody knew about my crazy pregnancy. I was thinking of just telling Mom now but I thought about it she would freak if she did. Just another month I can hide it until I really start showing. Especially with all this weight I'm gaining. This baby is a hungry baby. I didn't know I would be craving this much food but I guess it was just because I knew nothing about pregnancy except what new organs the baby would be growing each month.

I was going to tell one person. That was going to be my older stepsister who was also a teen mom, Jasmine. I picked up my cell phone and dialed her number. It took five rings before she answered the phone.

"Hey, Jasmine. Can you come over to my house? I have to talk to you about something very important", I said.

"Alright, I'll be over in ten", Jasmine said before hanging up.

After about ten minutes of flipping through the channels of finding something to watch. I heard the doorbell ring. I looked through the peep hole and it was Jasmine and my niece, her daughter Naia. I swung open the door. I hugged Jasmine then picked up Naia and shut the door.

"Hi, Auntwie Halley!" Naia said hugging me tightly.

"Hey, Naia. Go in the playroom and play with some of your dolls while me and your mommy talk in the kitchen. Alright?" I said.

"Alwight", Naia said before running off.

Jasmine followed me into the kitchen. We both sat down on a stool. "What do you need to tell me, Halley?"

"Please, don't be mad at me, Jasmine. I-I-I have a bun baking in the oven", I said before sighing in relief.

Jasmine's face went from depressed to shocked. "Halley Miranda Winfrey! What in god's name is  wrong with you! Does Mom know about this? I can't believe you!"

"She's not your Mom! And yes I'm serious! Look!" I said standing up and pushing my oversized t-shirt in.

"Technically, she is my Mom. She raised me since I was five, since my Mom left me for some man!" Jasmine screamed.

"I'm sorry", I said dropping to the floor crying.

"No, Halley. I'm sorry. If I hadn't gotten angry at you, you wouldn't have to yell at me. This is all my fault. I led you in the wrong direction. I got pregnant at thirteen and had Naya when I was fourteen and you just turned fourteen a month ago. Nothing's wrong with you. I made the same mistake but don't blame yourself because I know people that's twelve and pregnant. Now, that's worst than you being fourteen. Get up off this floor and let me take you to get an ultrasound", Jasmine said picking me up off the floor.

I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back.

"Halley Winfrey!" the nurse called out.

I got up along with Jasmine who was holding Naia. "Hi, I'm Nurse Richards. I'm just going to weigh you and get your height and everything else", the nurse said.

I climbed up on the scale and she said that I'd gained three pounds. It's good that I'd gained three pounds and that it was a good thing. She took me back into the ultrasound room and asked me some questions before leaving to go get the doctor.

"Are you excited?" Jasmine said bouncing Naia on her leg.

"Yeah but I'm scared at the same time", I said as the door swung open.

My face almost dropped to the floor when I seen who it was. I couldn't believe it. "Mom?"

"Oh my gosh. Jasmine and Halley? What in heaven's sake are you doing here?" Tyra questioned us.

"W-w-what are you doing here?" Jasmine stuttered.

"This is where me and my husband work", Tyra snapped.

"Calm down, Tyra. It's not like you've been around. You've missed fourteen great and crazy years in her life. Now, lets get this over with", I said climbing onto the bed.

"Who's this little girl?" Tyra asked looking at Jasmine.

"This is my daughter, Nyraia Julissa Parker but we call her Naia. Can we get this over with? I don't want to even look at her face", Jasmine said.

"You're pregnant, Halley? A teen mom just like your sister?" Tyra said giving me a disapproving look.
