HELLO MY LITTLE BUMBLEBEES HOW ARE YOU IT'S BEEN A WHILE I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS CHAPTER GAVE ME MAJOR FEELS

-----

Grace woke up feeling happier than she'd felt in weeks. She sat up in bed and stared at the small rays of sun peaking through her blinds, a soft smile on her face. Her mind was replaying everything that had happened the night before.

"I have to call Mell," she murmured to herself.

She reached over to her nightstand, picked up her phone, and called Mell's FaceTime.

A high pitched squeal came from the phone and a face popped up on the screen.

"GRACE, OH MY GOSH!"

Grace giggled. "Please tell that I wasn't dreaming and it actually happened."

"You weren't dreaming and it actually happened." Mell laughed.

Grace sighed dreamily. "I didn't think it was possible for me to love him any more than I did. But I do. He makes me forget everything that happened the past few weeks."

Propping her phone on her dresser, she pulled her hair into a messy bun. She then gestured to Mell to be quiet and opened her bedroom door. She tiptoed past the closed doors of her sleeping siblings. When she reached her bathroom, she shut and locked the door and propped her phone up next to the sink.

"Do you think he'll actually call me?" Grace asked, getting a rag out from under her sink and scrubbing her face.

"Absolutely," Mell called, a toothbrush sticking out of her mouth.

"I'll probably cry." Grace pulled her big sweater over her head and slipped on a tank top that said "Grayson Dolan💙".

Mell spit the toothpaste out of her mouth. "Don't cry. And nice shirt."

Grace dramatically flipped her hair over her shoulder. "Thanks."

Mell giggled and slipped a pair of skinny jeans over her undies.

"Did you tell Ethan about me?" Mell asked.

Grace rolled her eyes. "Of course. I gave him your user." She picked up her makeup brushes and began to apply foundation.

"You're the best." Mell blew her a kiss through the camera.

Grace effortlessly brushed a small amount of eyeshadow on her eyes and traced a thin line of eyeliner.

Mell looked up from brushing our her long hair.

"Makeup on point, girl."

Grace grinned. "Everything on point, girl."

Grace's phone suddenly buzzed. When she saw who it was from, all the color drained from her face.

"I have to go, Mell," she whispered, hanging up on her best friend.

She opened the message from Olivia's mom.

Mrs. Smith: Grace, I would like for you to come over today so we can go through Olivia's room. I know she would want you to have most of her stuff. And, frankly, I don't want to do it alone.

Grace gasped and covered her mouth.

"I don't want to go," she murmured to herself, her eyes welling with tears.

She slid down the bathroom doors, her head in her hands.

"I can't do it. There are too many memories."

"No, I have to. I need to go," she argued with herself.

She took a deep breath, whipped her eyes, and marched downstairs where her mom was cooking breakfast.
