Alisa's POV

Amsterdam, Netherlands
3:40 a.m

I woke up in the middle of the night, needing water for my dry the throat. I got up and shivered as my bare feet hit the cold wooden floor. I grabbed a sweatshirt and put on. I walked out of my room and down the wide, dark halls. Then far in front of me, I saw a tall shadows. I froze I my footsteps, until I recognized who it was.

"Andrei?" I said surprised.

"Hey, Alisa. What are you doing out so late?" He asked, with a bit of nervousness.

"Just wanted some water. What about you." I said quietly.

"Oh. Um, j-just walking around, I couldn't sleep." He said.

"Yeah okay, I know you're going to Esme's room." I said.

"Really?" He asked.

"No you odor, I tricked you. Now I know though. Anyway, off you go, I'm going to find the kitchen." I said looking around.

"Good luck, this place is big." He said.

"Yeah, but are palace is bigger. And prettier." I said.

"Yeah, it is. Well good night." Andrei said.

"Good night." I said back.

I walked away and tried to find my way to the kitchen. As I was looking . I came across a hall of picture frames on the wall. All of them of the family.

There was one of the King and Queen's wedding. A picture of what I'm guessing is Klaus when he was a baby. Then there was one of Esme when she was a baby with Klaus who looked around two. Then another of Klaus playing soccer with a few other kids. He looked about five or six. Then a picture of the whole family. Three of them actually. One where both kids were young. The second, they looked about twelve or thirteen. And one that looked like it was taken recently.

"What are you doing?" I heard someone say. I looked and saw Klaus.

"Just looking for the kitchen, wanted some water." I said.

"Well you're not going to find it in the pictures." He said.

"Can you just show me where it's at, please." I said.

"Follow me." He said with a bit of annoyance. What's up with him, is always this grumpy.

"Here it is. Waters in the fridge. If you don't like cold water, there some on the counter. You choose," He said "is that all?"

"Yeah, thanks." I said. He nodded and left. I grabbed a glass cup and pored myself cold water. Once the water went down my dry throat, it instantly felt better, and less dry.

"Alisa, right?" I heard a familiar voice say. I looked back and saw Larissa, the one who tried to steal my small amount of jewelry.

"Yeah, well Grand Duchess Alisa, of Russia. But Alisa is fine too." I said, taking another sip of water.

"Well Alisa, I'll warn you now. Stay away from Klaus. He's mine. I don't want someone like you getting in the way of our relationship-"

"What relationship? God Larissa, you're too clingy. That's why we're not dating. Not that I'd ever want to date you anyway." He said. Does he just pop out of nowhere or something. I swear he left a while ago.

"You'd really do it with someone like her.

I'm right here you know.

"I'm sure it's be better than doing it with someone like you." He spat at her.
