All I could do was laugh when my mother told me that instead of going to Tokyo I would be going to god knows where. I fully thought that she was joking but then three days later I was packed and driven to the airport. She handed me my ticket and said
"Well, I'll see you when you get back in two weeks and get me some good shots"
The perks of having your mother as a boss, absolutely none. I checked into the waiting area, with the number of times I travelled I was prepared. I had my laptop, iPhone, and headphones with me in my carry on as well as my camera of course. You never know when you might need to take some shots always best to be ready. I checked my watch; it was only 9:20 am and my flight was at 10 great another 40 min to go. I sat down at the seating area in front of Starbucks and pulled out my laptop. Checking my email, I saw that Alex my mother's assistant had sent my itinerary already. While I read through it and I heard the stewardess come over the P.A system to say that my flight was now boarding. I closed my laptop and put it in my bag.
While I was waiting in line for the stewardess to check our passports and tickets a guy suddenly walked past me and bumped into me making me almost fall. I saved my camera/laptop bag before it could touch the ground but everything else had fallen to the floor.
How rude! He just kept on walking and didn't even apologize! URGGGGGG.
I hoped that I would not be sitting near that rude guy. The guy in line behind me helped me pick up my stuff and gave it to me with a smile asking if I was ok. Sigh if only more people were like that. I told him I was fine and thanked him for helping me pick up my stuff. I showed the stewardess my ticket and passport and she let me on. I walked through the tunnel onto the plane where another stewardess directed me to my seat. Lucky for me Alex bought first class so I don't have to cram with all the equipment in the economy class.
I found my seat and put my stuff next to me on the floor of the plane. I hate to take off and landings. I sat in my seat clutching the armrest after I buckled myself in. That's when I saw him, he was sitting down next to me. It was him the rude guy who bumped into me earlier. I sighed this was going to be a long flight and I got stuck with the rude guy who didn't know how to apologize. Great! Just awesome. Once the flight took off I pulled out my laptop and plugged in my headphones.
After half an hour later, the stewardess came around asking if we wanted drinks. I asked for an earl grey tea and he asked for a scotch on rocks. When I looked up I saw the stewardess looking at him with googly eyes as she handed him his drink, completely forgetting about me. She started to walk away with the cart but unexpectedly before I could say anything he called her back and asked her for an earl grey. He looked at me with his Blue/Grey eyes and asked me "Do you take it with sugar and cream?"
