Becca's Story II: The Spilt

Chapter Ten: Battle One

"So, do you know how many people are in Hill Top?" Rick asked me and the group member, "no but they've came up to the gates with about maybe 4 dozen people," my group member said, "I don't know, Negan told me he had tons of people, he never gave me an exact number," I said, "do you know if he has more then one bases, he trusts you the most," Rick said, "no, he never told me, he only told me about the one that he's drawing for you, because that's the closest one to Hill Top," I said. We planned everything and left that night, Rick, Glenn, Daryl, Abraham, Rosita, Sasha, and Aaron went into the building and was planned to kill all the people, Jesus, Gabrielle, Tara, our group member and our other group member that was taken from us to get us to give them more supplies as Maggie, Carol and I took watch. "What if you get caught, they're gonna be pissed that some random group had Negan's kid," Maggie said, "well what is a pregnant woman doing out here! It's safer for a kid to be out here more then it is for a pregnant woman!" I said trying to me quiet, "we tell her we kidnapped her," Carol said, "oh yeah, because that's totally safe, they'll kill us on the spot!" Maggie said, "well, do you have a better plan!? Becca is right, you shouldn't be here! You're pregnant, what if you were to die!? you'd kill your kid a long with yourself!" Carol said, "guys don't argue, we need to take care of what we have and we need to take care of ourselves and our family, Maggie, you shouldn't have come because of the baby, but it's not my place too you what to do, but I wish you wouldn't have put yourself on danger along with the baby, and Carol that's not the smartest plan, but I can work with who ever comes, everyone knows who I am so to make sure she doesn't hurt you guys, not tie up my hands and take my weapons to make it more believable," I said. Carol tied up my hands taking my weapons as we started listening to gun shots, "Jesus I really hope they're ok," I said looking towards the place. A lot of time had passed when Carol and Maggie started arguing again about Maggie coming and other stuff and I just sat there when people started coming and Carol shooting someone in the shoulder, I looked over when they suddenly had Maggie and Carol trapped, "Becca? Is that you?" Said a girl with a familiar voice, when she came to where I could see her, I saw it was Paula, "we took her, we were using her to help her group, then we were gonna let her go, but it was against her own will," Carol said, "is this true Becca," Paula asked, "yes it was, they even told Hill Top," I said, "ok, Molly, grab Becca and take off her ropes, and take the other two," Paula said. All of us walked towards and area where can see all of them and I looked at them afraid about what was gonna happen. "Hey, you, with the python," Paula said over the walkie, "we have two of your people, named Carol and Maggie, also our little girl who you took from us, we really don't like that," Paula said over the walkie. I looked deeply at all of them, and then looked at Glenn, scared about what would happen and wanting to go to them and tell them we're ok but knowing that is I did, Paula would shoot me where I stand, "let's go," Paula said as we walked away to a car having a plan to trade. Paula brought us to a near by warehouse and tied Maggie and Carol up and put them near poles on separate sides of the room, Donnie had went into another room near us when we heard gun shots, "you two stay here, Becca stay, you have your gun so don't let them near you, they come near, you shoot them," Paula said while her Molly and Michelle went to help Donnie. Maggie then got up and started rubbing the tape against a corner to get it off, "Maggie, what if they come back while you're doing that, stop!" I said quietly, Maggie looked at me because she couldn't talk because both Maggie and Carol having gags. It went silent when Carol suddenly started breathing really heavily, I looked over at her worried when they walked back in and I looked back up taking the look away. "Some asshole let biters in and bit Donnie," Paula said, "well then either he's gonna die, or amputate his arm" I said, "why would we amputate his arm?" Michelle said, "because, if we don't, then the infection will spread to the rest of his body, and it's not gonna help much with a bullet wound," I said, "if we do that then we'll bleed out and then turn either way," Molly said, "not if you take care of it properly," I said, "and how in the bloody hell do you know this?" Paula said, "my brother's wife's dad, he got bit on his lower leg, they immediately amputated it and he survived, until he was decapitated," I said, "well, we cant do it or he'll die," Michelle said. I heard Carol breathing heavier and I looked over, I quickly went over to her and took off her gag so she could breathe. "Why the hell did you do that!?" Molly said, "she was hyperventilating," I said looking at them, "so what?" Michelle said, "if she didn't get the gag off, we would've had two walkers on our hands, plus, we could need her," I said getting up backing away from her, "you know Becca, sometimes you're too nice, and it's almost like you care for her," Paula said, "I don't, she means nothing to me," I said, "if she means nothing, then kill her," Paula said, "no, I wont," I said, "why not?" Paula said, "because I don't kill if I don't have a reason to kill," I said, "don't have a reason? They just killed people in one of out bases," Michelle said, "but she didn't kill anyone," I said, "something tells me you care about her Becca," Paula said, "I don't but I'm not going to kill her," I said, "fine, if you wont kill her," Paula started and shot me in the leg. I screamed in pain falling to the ground, "then I'll just slowly and painfully kill you," Paula finished. I looked over at Maggie and I saw her starring at me in fear and then I looked back at Paula, "you, you can't kill me, because if you do, Negan, wont be very happy with you," I said looking at her, "easy, I tell him you betrayed us and you were the one that killed Donnie," Paula said, "technically, I wouldn't be the one that would've killed him, he got shot and then bitten, plus, you just told the group that's coming what, what just happened," I said still in pain then she shot my other leg. I screamed in pain again when Rick came over the walkie saying he wanted to trade, "well, you can have both your members, plus the little bitch you took from us, you can have her back, but I'm not gonna promise she's going to be in one piece," Paula said back over the walkie. Molly was then told to take Maggie in another room and talk with her, Paula then dragged me and sat me where Maggie was and used her cuffs cuffing me there. "I know you're not with us, and I should've figured, so how do you know them?" Paula said, "remember when I told you before you took me and my baby sister to Hill Top, I told you I was looking for my family?" I said, "crystal clear," Paula said, "well, I found them, my brother's wife, the girl you had Molly bring into the other room, don't hurt her, you can kill me, but not them, Maggie, she's pregnant, so please, leave her alone," I said. Paula walked away and went back to talking to Rick on the walkie, "we know you didn't kidnap Becca from us, she's one of you people's sister, and I want him to know something about her. She's not ok, I'm just gonna narrow it down to what's gonna happen to her in the end after she get's done being shot in each other her limb, she's gonna die. She already got shot in both her legs, she can't walk, so I wish you good luck." Paula said, "I want you to know," Rick said over the walkie, "you do anything to that little girl, you're not gonna be very happy," he finished, "so Rick, I'm guessing you're her brother," Paula said, "no, she's family, and she means more then the world to me, so if when we do the trade and she's dead, you wont live to see anything else either," Rick said, "I'm not scared Rick, because I'll kill her faster then you will be able to even find us," Paula said, "in ten minutes, we meet at the field and we trade," she finished and put down the walkie, "there was a problem," Paula said looking at Michelle, "what do you mean?" Michelle, replied, "there wasn't much static during that call, he's close and getting closer," Paula said. I looked at my hand cuffed hand and just starred at it, I was afraid again, but I didn't feel the fear I felt when Hershel was killed next to me, not the fear from when Nina died, Francie, no one, "did you kill her?" I asked, "kill who?" Paula asked looking at me, "Lucy, did you people kill her?" I asked again, "yeah, we did, brutally too, and it wasn't much of a pretty sight either, and I've seen ugly sights like that one, but she just wouldn't give up. Negan's bat just kept hitting her, and hitting her, until she finally, after what, the millionth hit, she finally blacked out, she was finally dead," Paula said starring at me. I starred at the cuffs, this time no tears, not screaming, nothing, because I didn't know if she was lying, or if she was just trying to get my guard down. It was a few minutes later, Paula and Michelle had walked out Carol and Maggie were planning to kill them while Donnie was laying on the ground dead and turning. "Becca come on," Maggie said not realizing I was cuffed, "I can't go any where, and I don't know if I want to," I said, "Becca, come on, you'll be fine, but we have to go," Maggie said, "she can't go anywhere Maggie, she is cuffed and Paula has the key," Carol said, "plus, I don't think I want to keep going," I said, "what do you mean?" Maggie said, "everyone is gone," I said, "not everyone, you still have me, Glenn, Carol, Rick Carl! Carl loves you, you need to get out of because of the two of them, Carl and Glenn," Maggie said, "come on Becca, Maggie is right, we need to get out of here," Carol said, "just leave me! I'm gonna slow you down, I can't even walk! Just go," I said, "not without you," Maggie said. Maggie and Carol started planning to kill Molly, after they did, Molly soon came out of the other room and then got bit by Donnie who had turned into a walker. Maggie and Carol then left to fight Paula and Michelle after they had taken Molly's weapons and stabbed Molly and Donnie in the head to keep them from attacking me. It was a couple of minutes later and I started growing pale and was trying to keep my eyes open and to stay away from passing out. Maggie and Carol had came back and unlocked the cuff and took it with them, "Maggie are yo ok? You got slashed, is the baby ok?" I was bale to say, "yeah, I'm fine and so is the baby," Maggie said, "she need immediate attention, she needs to get back to Alexandria immediately or she'll die." Carol said. They had helped me to an area and near us is a two way exit and I had no idea what the plan was. We then heard other people from Paula's group, I saw Carol light a cigarette with my blurry vison at this point. She dropped the cigarette in the room and quickly closed the door so they would bur alive. We had gotten to the door when they gently put me down grabbing out guns, I looked over as my eyes were half open and slowly bled out, when the door were opened, I was able to make out Rick, Daryl and Glenn, so I knew we were safe. "Becca!" Glenn said coming to me, I looked towards Glenn trying to keep my eyes open. He picked me up and they ran towards some where when it had went black.
