Sorry for the late update. Naging busy lang. Hehe. Anyways, who miss Gray? He's here and when he's here, he's gonna give you a lot of confusions in your head because he's mysteriously awesome and he's my favorite character. Geeez!! It took me a lot of time creating this chapter. Still, this is one of my favorites. Hope you'll enjoy reading this! :)

Chapter 18: A Repartee in the Coffee Shop

I invited him dahil may gusto akong itanong sa kanya. And his answers will determine if what I'm thinking now is right.

"So what are we gonna talk about?" Aniya sabay lapag ng tasa sa lamesa. "Are you gonna do some confessions? Like telling me how you like me when we first met?" He said as he playfully smiled at me.

I forced myself not to roll my eyes. "Kaanu-ano mo nga ulit si Nicole?" I asked him, ignoring his windy and witty comment.

"Pinsan ko nga." He boringly stated as if it was the most obvious answer to the question I repeatedly ask.

"Then, what do you think about her?" I asked him again while my fingers are playing with the cup.

He took a sip of his coffee before answering."Shall I answer your question with another question?" At naglean forward siya. "What do you think about Shan? Pinsan mo siya di ba? Gaano mo siya kakilala?"

That made me think. Gaano ko nga ba kakilala si Shan? It was last year when we first met, and it was not specifically good dahil hindi pa niya alam na pinsan niya ako and she bullied me because I stole LJ as a best friend from her. Basically speaking, I don't know a lot about her.

"Well..

"That's the same situation with me and Nicole. We're cousins but we're not friends." He casually said like it was an ordinary thing to him.

"Then what about Nithan? Pareho kayong lalaki kaya malamang magkakasundo kayo."

"In order for cousins to be best friends, they should grow up together. Lumaki akong hiwalay sa kanila." He answered, still calmly composed with a sense of mysterious aura on his face.

"Then, what about Ghian?

"Ghian Ramos, you mean?

"How did you know about that?" Nagtatakang tanong ko sa kanya.
