A Little Message and Explanation

Hello everyone! It seems that this fanfic has become really successful and I honestly didn't expect that since this is my first time writing a fanfic aaaa thank you so much everyone! <3

The update will take quite a while because I plan on publishing about 4-5 new chapters in the next update plus school is starting so it's a tough schedule but I hope you guys still stay with me on this fanfic. QuQ)/

Also, I saw that some of you are confused on the plot and the mafia relations, I do remember putting "Mafia AU" in the tags. QuQ)/ So yes, this is a Mafia AU fanfic. QuQ)/

I guess I should explain it now so you guys will understand it better, no spoilers will be given, don't worry~

Back in the days, Ichimatsu would get in allot of trouble because he owes so much people money but sometimes refuses to pay. Karamatsu, being the one person to find out about his doings, vowed to protect him no matter what the cost. Even if it means taking away lives. Totoko is a rich woman in this fanfic, she has people to guard her and to do the dirty work for her. Totoko would do anything to get what she wanted. Anything.

Now, if we were to compare Karamatsu and Totoko, Karamatsu has a reason for his wrong doings while Totoko did everything out of jealousy and greed.

Ichimatsu on the other hand, knows about Totoko's stuff. Ichimatsu threatened to expose Totoko to the public if she won't give him what he wants. Giving what Ichimatsu wants would make Totoko bankrupt, but Ichimatsu said he'll repay her in a way.

Totoko grew impatient and decided that it is time for Ichimatsu to pay. She wanted to see him dead but since Karamatsu and Ichimatsu had connections, it was easy for them to create a fake Ichimatsu. A decoy to show that he "died".

Karamatsu pretends to be in sorrow, fooling everyone successfully and uses the opportunity as his "moment to get away and forget", and by that, he means go to Ichimatsu in their hideaway house.

Little did Karamatsu know that Totoko was still watching him, and this leads to the current part of the story.

I hope that cleared out some stuff, I should've explained it more in the fic but I wasn't so sure on how I could do it but I promise to revise this fanfic in the future.
