The forest sparkled and was like a enchanting painting to naive eyes. But Mary grew the forest, Mary knew the forest. "It's alive. " she whispered into her lovers ear.
The two lovers lived alone, shunned by the villagers for the use of magic. So to protect themselves Mary grew the forest around their home. One day Mary's lover made a trip to the market place to get supplies they couldn't grow.
When he didn't return for weeks Mary got worried she ventured out of the woods.

Blood trickled down a stake, on the top was her lovers head. Eyes rolled  back and skin frozen and pale. A sign written in coal "your next witch."
Her heart froze, and hatred for the villagers spread throughout her veins.
She screamed "Help me my forest! For they may believe they are safe but when they enter our forest. They will pay." She cackled in disbelief and hid even deeper in the forest never to be seen again.
