Chapter 4

Nora's POV
I popped down on the couch next to Jason and Ethan sits next to me.
"So does anyone want something to drink?" Josh asks getting up and heading towards a mini fridge.
"Pop" everyone says and Josh grabs us all a pop and hands it to us.
"So Nora, tell something about yourself!" Noah says while opening his pop and takes a long sip.
"Ummm" I look over to Ethan and give a look that says' I really don't want to talk about this subject' but he just gives me an encouraging nod. " Well I'm 16 years old I absolutely love reading ummm " I chuckle. " there's not a lot about me I'm really boring" I say and Ethan's friends looks at me and laughs all of them saying that they know that there is to learn about me type thing. I then feel my phone viberate and I take it out of my butt pocket and see one message. Its from Ethan!
Your no where near boring.
I smile at the text normally people say I'm boring and it was nice of Ethan to think I wasn't. I look at Ethan and smile at him. And he smiles back! Jason gets up and extends his hand at me.
"Let me show you around since Ethan isn't going to do it." Jason says and I give him my hand and he pulls me up and starts walking with me in tow but then Ethan jumps off of the couch and runs to us.
"I never said I wasn't going to show her around I just was waiting and I wanted her to meet you guys first." He explains quickly and he quickly but gently takes my hand out of Jason's and replaces it with his own. Jason smiles and crosse's his arms across his chest
"That's what I thought" he says as me and Ethan go down the stairs heading for the first floor when we get to the first floor I noticed that Ethan's hand has not left mine and I suddenly feel warm as in happy kind of warm. He shows me the first floor which has a dinning room, two living rooms, a huge kitchen in the back, and a library. He shows me the second floor which was pretty much the bedroom floor there was six bedrooms there was three master bedrooms and three guest rooms he informed me that master bedroom's where his parents and grandparents bedrooms. He then leads me to the third floor which was his room. THE WHOLE THIRD FLOOR WAS HIS ROOM!! It was huge. I stared in awe at his room. His room was kind of plain it was a light shade of red and a light slash dark shade of black he had the Xbox and a huge flat screen tv. His bed could have at least fit six people on it on on side of his room he had some drums and apps and guitars lying around.
"You play?" I ask pointing to the equipment. He turns his head in the direction mine is and nods his head with a smile.
"Ya, me the guys do."
" which instrument do you play?" I ask moving towards the equipment.
"Ummm. Lead guitar" he says while rubbing the back of his neck.
I sit down on his bed suddenly feeling light headed. "Are you OK?" He asks and sits next to me and lays a hand on my shoulder.
I nod my head slowly.
" ya I'm fine. I think its just everything that's been going on. I'm just overwhelmed with me being pregnant " I says and whisper pregnant.
" Are you sure you're alright? " He asks with concern.
"Ya I'm alright I just needed to sit down." I say and try to smile. " So what kind of music do you guys play?" I ask changing the conversation topic.
"Mostly anything we hear on the radio." He says and heads to he's guitar which is red with black and white. He grabs his eleteric guitar and starts picking the string's.
"Play something for me!" I say a little to demanding. He smiles and sits down. After a minute of thinking what to play, he finally decides 'All of me by John Legend'. Durning the whole time he was singing I felt like he was playing this for me. I know he was playing this for me because I was the only person there in the room, but I meant that the way he is singing and playing it, it feels like it means something. Like maybe he has a thing for me and the song he is sing is ours. I don't know that's just me but I'm sure if you were here in my place I think you would feel the same way.

Erik's POV
I wasn't expecting her to say 'Play something for me' most girls just look at our equipment and say cool then they move on, but not this one she's actually interested in me. Which that can be a good and bad thing. On the good side I'll have someone who will make me happy, on the bad side she'll want to know everything about me and she'll most likely find out I'm a gang leader. I like that she isn't a bad girl and just want to have sex with me as much as I like some OK some bad girls I kind of getting sick off it. I don't pity her I know she wouldn't want that I wouldn't either. I love her beautiful soft looking brown hair and her green eyes that look like a forest in them. When I finished playing All of me her face lights up and she claps.
"That was sweet,Ethan" She says after she was done clapping and I put the guitar on it's stand. " You have an amazing voice its better than JL's" I smile and look at the clock. Holy shi...
" Hey Nora I don't want to seem rude but shouldn't you go home." I say.
"No why?"
" ummm.... It like 11:30 right now." She doesn't jump and scramble for the door. She just sits there with a sad face on.
"C..can I stay here for the night?" She asks and fiddles with my comforter. " I'm just really angry at my mom and dad right now and I don't want to see them right now." I was kind of surprised and really happy at the same time.
I nod my head "ya you can stay here. Are you going to tell your parents that you are going to stay here or something?" She gets up and stands close to me.
" I'll text them and tell them that I'm spending the night at a new friends house they wont question it." She says and hugs me. "Thank you."
I hug her back, usually I'm not a hugger but this hug this feeling inside that is demanding that I never let go of her. "For what?" I ask trying to keep my cool.
" For being there when I needed you. And for understanding me." She whispers to me. I hugger a little tighter wanting her to be closer to me. Funny thing is when I do hug people I feel nothing but right now I feel warm inside and I don't want it to stop.
" I'll always be there for you. No matter when or where. I'll be there." She pulls back and smiles.
"Is that a promise?" She asks. I think for a minute. Is it a promise? Can I keep this promise? I don't want anything to happen to her.
I nod my head "yes it is."
"You better keep it" She says seriously but smiles jokingly. And she walk toward my bed and pulls out her phone and texts her parents. After she texted them and they replied saying that they are sorry about what they said and all that parent crap, I took Nora to one of the guest bedrooms lucky for her I have a distant cousin who sometimes crash's at my place and she is about the same age as Nora and my cousin leaves her clothes here just in case so I let Nora borrow some of them. I know my cousin wouldn't mind. When I take Nora to the guest room she kind of stands in awe. It was a medium size bedroom with white walls and red velvet curtains and a comforter that is red silk and gold design's. Mostly everything is red with gold.
"If you want anything you know where I'll be at and if you ever need to crash here your always welcomed" I say and close the door and go to the hang out. When I got there the guys were watching a football and they cheered at the touch down.
"Hey Ethan!" Noah says Ethan with attitude.
" Shut up!" I say kind of annoyed. Just the my phone buzzed in my pocket. I look at the ID address and see its.... damn it's my stepdad. I pick it up.
" what do you want?" I ask harshly. My dad chuckles.
" Am I not allowed to call my son on his birthday week and wish him happy birthday?" He asks pretending to be hurt.
"No. And I'm not your son," I tell him. He laughs as if I said something absolutely funny.
" I hear that you meet someone," My breathing stops. If he so much as thinks about her, I'm going to kill him! "She's a beautiful woman,"
" How did you find her?" I ask in a harsh whisper. The boys surround trying to get my conversation with my stepdad.
"Your brother has been following you for a while. Taking photographs and learning everything about your life. He's very interested in you girl....Nora? That's her name isn't it?" He says. He wants to fight me.
"You touch her I will kill you " I yell. My stepdad laughs. " You think I'm joking. Well I'm not. You may have been an allie for my father with his gang but now that I have taken over you are now my enemy," I say and hang up.
" Erik, she's going to be fine. We can protect her" Noah says confidently. I sigh.
" I know we can protect her but for how long?" I ask and start heading toward my room like the walking dead. If I lose her I don't know what I'll do.
When I get to my room I plop on my bed and try to get a good nights rest.

Nora pov
I woke up to the smell of bacon. I get up out of the comfy bed, I pick out some clothes from the dresser which is black knee ripped skinny jeans and a thick black tank top. Using my nose I followed the smell of bacon and found myself in front of the kitchen. Surrounding the huge countertop is Noah, Jason, and Josh. Noah is making the food while the other two eats everything in sight. Jason and Josh are also pushing each other around like they are small kids. Josh stops all of the sudden and sniffs the air.
" I sense a desterbence in the force," He says with a serious face. He swips his head in my direction very dematicly. Noah and Jason follows his lead.
" Morning Nora! You sleep well?" Noah asks like are long time friends. I walk in the kitten and stand at the countertop.
" Very well. Thank you," I respond. " Where's Ethan?"
" He went out to get a few things for the party tonight," Jason says, stealing a piece of bacon on a plate next to Noah. Noah sees and smacks Jason's hand.
" that was for Nora," Noah says. Jason smiles and starts putting the piece of bacon in his mouth, but before he can I snatch it from his hand and quickly put it in my mouth. They all look at me in surprise, Jason looks like he's been cheated on. Then Noah breaks the silence by laughing. " Man Nora your fast," I smile.
" So I was think maybe we go for a swim," Josh suggests. " It will give us something to do in until the party and I'm sure Ethan is going be gone for a while," I nod at his suggestion.
" Ya let's do that. It will be fun," I say and Noah and Jason say yes.
" Nora go through Ethan's cousin dresser, I'm sure there is some bathing suits in there that you can use," Josh says. " Last one down here is a rotten egg," Everyone bolts to there room. When I get to my room I look through the dresser and find ten bikinis. I grab the light blue top and black bottom and throw it on. Then I race back down stairs and find that I'm the rotten egg the guys laugh and say I'm slow. I push them and laugh too. Then the lead me to the pool which is a huge built in one and is very deep the boys jump into the pool, making a huge splash.
" Come on in, its warm" Josh says waving me over. I put my toe in and pull it back quickly. It's freezing! I shake my head no.
" Your a lier! It's freezing, there's no way I'm getting in," I say. Noah smiles.
"Oh there's a way," He says. What does he mean? Then I feel someone pick me up and throw me into the pool. When I swim up I see Ethan standing at the edge of the pool is swim trunks on and a devilish grin on his face. Ethan and the guys laugh.
" You should have seen your face," Ethan says still laughing.
" That wasn't funny," I state but a laughescapes my lips. I reach my hand up for Ethan, he takes it and with all my strength I pull him in. He falls face first in the pool. I start laughing then stop when I realize that no one is laughing with me. Everyone is in shock, even Ethan who is trending water. Then Ethan starts laughing and so does everyone else. It was fun in the pool it almost made me forget about the fetus. We had races and played chicken fight and dunked each other under the water. I think it's the most fun I've had in weeks.
   We were in the pool for three hours. The boys were slowly getting bored and hungry so they got out and went to the kitchen to get something to eat. Only Ethan and I stayed. Ethan grabbed my hand and kissed it. I blushed. Then I realize I'm falling for the new boy.
