Chapter 1; Childhood Memories
"Blake! Don't leave me! You the only friend I had,you promised you will not leave me!" I cried as I ran after Blake. I was only 10 back then, Blake was my only friend since I moved into this town. He was my first crush, my best friend, I would do anything for him to stay. He was the same age as me, with dirty blonde hair and dark hazel eyes. With tears streaming down my face, I kept running after him, hoping he would stay.
He stopped running away from me.
He turned and stared at me with a hurtful look. We stared at each other, as we were panting from all the running. " Hailey, you have to understand, I'm doing this because of my father, I promise, I will come back for you one day. " he explained.
"But B-Blake..."
"I'm sorry Hailey, farewell"
And he left.
I stood there, as the lighting started to flash and the thunder roared. I couldn't believe Blake was leaving me. I pictured myself being alone everyday. No one to joke with, to created memories with, being alone was the thing I hated most in my life. As drops of rain hit my skin, and the cold wind blew, I shivered and tried to stay happy, although I know I wouldn't. With tears flowing down my face, I made my way home, alone.
