One day, Chef Nolan and Ava both attended a world renown cooking school. Chef knew he was in for a challenge when they announced everyone's partners. He was hoping and praying that he wouldn't be paired up with Ava. Chef was an old, brown eyed, grey haired man. Ava, on the other hand, was a short, green eyed, 6 year old girl.
"I would rather be partners with anyone in the world if it meant I wouldn't have to be with Ava," Chef Nolan said.
"Mommy, mommy, mommy! I'm so excited! I don't care who my partner is as long as I get to help cook!" Ava said.
Here are the partners: Jenna and Ryan, Julianne and Jacob, Heidi and Seth, Tessa and Ethan, and last but not least Ava and Nolan. Everyone, please go find your partner and pick any station to sit at. Thank you!
"You have to be kidding me! I would have been fine with anyone else. Hey, um excuse me, hi I'm Chef Nolan. It must be a mistake, I got paired up with Ava, a 6 year old! She is no match for my skills and is gonna be impossible to work with!"
"I'm sorry sir, we can't make any changes to the list after they have been announced. If you would of came up just a few minutes earlier, I could of changed it for you, but not anymore." said the class director.

Okay, for the first challenge of this class, we are going to start off by with a simple, yet delicious dish of noodles with pesto. You have one minute to gather all of your ingredients and bring them back to your station. Ready, set, GO! 1, 2, 3....57, 58, 59 ,60! Okay that's all the time you are gonna get to shop for this challenge. When I say go you may start. You only have 30 minutes to make a delicious dish and put it on a nice plate. Any questions? No, okay, ready, set, and don't go! Ha-ha, I got you guys! Ready, GO!
" Hi I'm Chef Baker. Just stand back and let me do the cooking, okay?"
" I'm Ava and I don't think so! You are letting me help cook if its the last thing you do, GOT IT?"
" Whatever! Pass me the butter, milk, and basil."
" I'm not your maid, get it your self! "
When Chef Baker got back with the ingredients to make the noodles, Ava was dumping in the pesto, which was the LAST step! She dumped the entire jar which ruined their dish! Chef was furious and didn't talk to Ava the rest of the challenge.

Judge 1: Eeeeeww! It's more like Pesto Soup rather than Pesto Noodles. I give you a 3.
Judge 2: I agree! It tastes like I'm eating Pesto right out of the jar! I give you a 2.
Judge 3: I have to disagree... I love the way the Pesto is being used in this dish. I don't like it when I get dishes where I can't even see the basil. I think you made a wonderful dish although the noodles where a bit under cooked. I give you a 8.
Judge 4: I'm a little on the fence. The dish was very good, but it did have a little bit of un-needed Pesto. I didn't think it was as bad as judge 1 and 2 said, but I also don't think it was as good as Judge 3 said. I give your dish a 6.
