I passed by the little convenience store, headphones in and not paying attention to much. The loud metal music blasted through the speakers, and aside from objects directly in front of me everything disappeared. So clearly, I didn't see the boy to my right.

That is, I didn't see the boy to my right until he stopped me.

"Hey. You." I very faintly heard a male voice, and felt a poke with sharp nails.
I looked over and saw a guy who looked kinda my age.

He had green hair, that came to a large spike in the middle, and blue eyes. (Or gold if you'd like to go by the manga.) He was dressed in a long coat that was torn at the end.

I took out my earbuds and spoke to him.

"Yes?"

"I'm bored, and I can't find anything to have fun with. Can I play with you?"

...

That was an odd question. Is this guy a rapist? His tone honestly did sound bored.

"Doing what?" I hesitantly asked him.

He looked as if he was thinking, and then pulled a sucker out of his pocket. Before he answered he popped it into his mouth.

"We can find something. I promise I won't eat you." Great, so he's not a cannibal.

"Well I would hardly call it cannibalism." Shit, I said that out loud. "You see, it's normal for demons to eat humans. So that isn't cannibalism."

Demons? Demons. Sure why not?

"Oh so you're a demon huh?" I decided to play along with this guy's game, I didn't have anywhere to be and he was kinda entertaining.

"Precisely. Amaimon to be exact, King of the Earth."

"Okay, Amaimon, let's go. I'll have some fun with you."  His lips tugged up into a small smile.

"Thank you." With that he pulled me into a tight hug, holding me closely to him. Before I could say anything, he leapt into the air, taking me with him.

Okay what the fuck is this? People can't jump this high, was he seriously a demon? What?

"You-You weren't kidding... Were you?" I stuttered with surprise.

"Oh, hm? About what? Being a demon? No, I thought you believed me."

"Well I do now..." Amaimon didn't respond, he just securely held me against his chest as he jumped from rooftops to telephone poles and even to random street signs.

We're going to a playground. Either that or we can kill some people. Which sounds more fun?"

"Um... I don't kill people."

He looked at me for a moment, with only a slight surprised look.

"Right, I forgot, most humans don't like that."

After maybe five minutes, we arrived at what was probably the biggest playground I had ever seen. Once we were on the ground, I was quickly released from the tight grip that had been holding me to Amaimon.

"Which would you like to play with first, and before we play, would you like a lollipop?" Should I accept food from him..? I mean, he's obviously not normal, demon or not.

"Um, can I trust it?" He looked annoyed.

"There's no reason for me to harm my entertainment. It's safe. As long as you're with me, you'll be safe."

What he said was kind of sweet, but at the same time it was hurtful to know I was just boredom relief.

"Okay, sure." I accepted the pink and blue candy and began to eat on it. It tasted like cotton candy, and it was good. Sickeningly sweet though.

Suddenly I was being dragged towards a large swirly slide.

"This first." Amaimon led me to the entrance of the slide. "Sit down. Also, you've not given me your name."

"Oh, i'm (Y/N)." I did as he instructed. I was just about to begin sliding down the slide when I felt someone's form behind me, and then saw the odd boots Amaimon wore next to my own shoes.

"What? Why are you behind me?" I turned my head to notice I was in an extremely close proximity to him. I could see the details of his face this close up.

His eyes were very vibrant, and there was a darkness surrounding them. His skin tone was average, and I noticed his triangle shaped ears. He also seemed to have fangs.

"I'm going down with you. I didn't find someone just to go down a slide alone." Warm hands suddenly clamped down on my stomach, gently but with strength.

I looked down at him to see his nails were long pointed and black. I had to admit, upon closer examining he did look like a demon.

"Oh, okay. Are you sure you don't mind being this close to a mere human like myself?" Thinking about it, him being a demon made me feel insignificant.

"No, I don't mind humans, especially when they're so pretty. Are you sure you don't mind being this close to an evil spawn of Satan? Most humans get scared."

I would have answered right away, but, something was distracting me. He called me pretty.

"No. You promised you wouldn't hurt me, and you don't seem that evil so far." I said softly with a light blush on my face. I dropped my head so he wouldn't notice, and stared at the bottom of the slide. "Well, let's go."

He pushed off, and suddenly we were speeding down the slide together.
