I turned off the tv, and thought about the two girls as I slipped on my shoes. We were about to head to LA Magcon.

*flashback*

•|Rayleigh's POV|•

"Come on Kaelyn we have to keep moving." I said pushing up my sun glasses. We'd been on the move for a while and we're now in Los Angeles. We continued to walk until we saw some people. They started chasing us and we booked like hot shit to get away. A couple blocks down we bumped into two boys. One of them has this cute dirty blondish light brown type hair and brown eyes and was just absolutely gorgeous. I turned back and saw the people were catching up.

"Shit I'm so sorry. Kae we gotta go now." I said and snapped her from her daze on the other boy. He has brown hair and bright blue eyes. She turned back and ran with me. We booked it until we reached an older looking hotel. We walked in and asked for a room and pulled out some of our savings to pay. We had been planning this run for a while. The receptionist had gave us our keys and we brought our backpacks into the elevator. Kaelyn clicked the button for the 6th floor and the doors closed.

"That was Hayes Grier and Matthew Espinosa we ran into." Kae said dazed in thought.

"Kae, snap out of it. We can't get caught. We also can't let a couple of boys get in the way of our new life."

It was quiet until the elevator reached the 6th floor and opened. We stepped out of the elevator as the doors shut.

"Room 654 is this way Ray!" Kaelyn exclaimed as she strutted down the hallway, her back pack dragging behind her.I sighed and grasped the strap and started walking behind her.

"648... 650.. 652.. Ah here we go." I mumbled to myself. Kaelyn swiped the card and opened up the heavy creaky oak door. We walked inside. The room was cold and dark, and gave off a spooky vibe. I traced my hand along the wall as I shut the door behind me. I finally found the light switch and turned it on. We both approached the same bed.

"MINE!" screamed Kaelyn, as she threw herself into the bed we both wanted that was closest to the wall. I chuckled to myself quietly. I picked up her backpack and put it by the window with mine.

"This won't be so bad Baby K. It's a fresh start!" I said as I sat down on the edge of my bed. I heard a soft knock on the door and I gulped.

•|Matthew's POV|•

"Hayes those were the girls on the Amber alert this morning. We have to go after them!" I popped up from the bench we had sat down on.

"Yeah right Matt, quit freaking out," Hayes was looking at the cement below him.

"NO LOOK THE TALLER ONE HAS THE TALLY MARK TATTOO! PLEASE HAYES JUST BELIEVE ME." I was anxious at this point. Hayes sighed and got up and joined me.

"Alright Matthew let's go check it out."

We tagged at a distance behind them. They turned into the DuPoint Inn, and we waited by the book store, a few buildings down from the hotel, for a few minutes so they could check in.
