EVIL SPIRIT (horror)
Chapter 1
I was just so bored so I decided to switch on my generator(I_pass_my_neighbor),  I started it and turn the tv to watch  news. Then a headline got my attention.. it was saying something like “government hiking –volunteers need, reg is free” woow.. I was so happy, I copied the number on the screen and dialed it immediately, luckily a woman picked and explained the whole stuff, for me and I kinda loved it, and I was going to be paid after the adventure….
Okay… my name is Utee, from akwa ibom state but… am currently based in calabar, my school is on a compulsory   break.. the government gave a two year break (strike).. for what we don’t know. So have been a NAS (non acad student).. infact I was tired.. cause mum usually send money like every week, cause looking for a job here in calabar was another name for suffer.. it was so hectic… so I decide to keep myself buy, by visiting friends and the rest….having fun…
When I saw the news I was so happy caused I love adventures and the fun part I was going to be paid  afterwards….so I phoned some of my niggers telling them what sup about the hiking shits and they all agreed. So we met at my place and started preparing we bought can foods, bottle waters, sleeping bags, tents, cutlass etc.. we were so excited that we were all going on this… the date for departure was on a Friday but we were prepared like a week before the D-day… finally Friday  came … we were all up before 5am.. trust me this was going to be fun… I said to no one in particular….me and my friends(michankee, prosper and Mary ) took a cab to the venue.. on getting there we saw just 16 persons, us making them 20…after a brief talk that lasted for 3hours to me ended… we were told we are to go a village and study it..and have fun…blah….blah… I didn’t hear the remaining.. I just wanted us to start going already… after like 30mins…. The chief officer said no electronics(phones, laptops, mp3s)… and said it was for security purposes…and we agreed…we left town by 4:52pm… after driving for like 14hours the bus came to a halt…. We alighted and followed the chief officer to the river side, where we took a boat, the journey on the boat was just 2hours…. Then we finally arrived.. we got into town… trust me this place is no village to me Mary said to me.. I was like yea… its too developed to be a village… then the officer took us to a motel that morning where we  stay and rested…
Tomorrow we will start our journey, so prepare yourself mentally, physically and otherwise…said the chief officer… any questions?? Yes sir!! A girl from my right said.. sir please what’s yhur name???? Am Mike.. thank yhu sir… so go and prepare for tomorrow… this will be an adventure yhu will never forget…
There is something odd about this motel, michankee said… and I also noticed that too.. Prosper chipped….. guys.. abeg make we go rest tomorrow go be fun… I said that and went to the room assigned the four of us… leaning over the dresser, I looked at myself at my reflection as I applied light makeup on my face…. It never takes me long to get ready, I jumped into my pair of jeans, a singlet and my boots…. Came out from the bathroom and met the other ready…we all step outside and met the rest of us, but something was so strange the town or should I say village as it was called was so deserted… then someone asked Mike why the place was empty…. He nodded and said no idea..anyways who is ready for some adventure????? Everyone shout me!!!! And we headed out…
