Antisepticeye's Point of View:
(Y/N) fell asleep on the way back to my place. I don't blame her, having to walk back the way she came, and a couple of miles past that would leave me tired if I were human. I shifted her weight in my arms, sighing softly."You're gonna have to find her parents."
Yeah, yeah. I got it.
"It'll be hard."
When has anything been easy?
"... True."
Ah, don't worry yourself. Just don't go an' kill the girl.
"I-I'm not gonna-!"
Chill. You'll wake her up.
"Oh," I looked down, then sighed in relief. "Still asleep."
Hah! You need to learn to shut your loud arse mouth!
I growled softly. "Shut the hell up..."
I turned onto my street, holding (Y/N) close. This place can be a bit shady, and it's tucked down between two busier streets, but barely anyone comes down here. As shady as it is, it's fairly quiet. The perfect place for someone like me to live. Smiling, I held (Y/N) in one hand, unlocking the door with the other. I kicked the door open, stepping into the dark room, closing the door with the heel of my foot.
Sighing, I flicked my light on, then placed my keys on the little table by the door, running a finger over the worn, wood surface. "Home sweet home," looking into my livingroom, I contemplated just dumping the pip-squeak on the couch, but thought against it.
"... Anti..."
Blinking, I looked down, and found (Y/N) yawning, blinking sleepily. "Hey," I smiled. "I was gonna patch you up, then put you in bed."
She looked up, her (E/C) eyes slightly misty. "Where are my Mommy and Daddy...?"
I blinked, caught off guard. "Ah... I don't... know.
"Oh," hurt filled her eyes as she looked down. "I hope they come get me soon."
A pain pulsed in my chest as she said that. Ah, shit.
Going into the bathroom, I set (Y/N) down on the counter, taking her backpack and jacket off. I was careful with her gloves, but managed to get them off without any complaint. Ducking down, I pulled out some band aids from the cabinet, then some cotten balls, and hydrogen peroxide. I soaked a ball in the liquid, then grabbed (Y/N)'s hand lightly.
"This is going to hurt a bit, okay?"
She nodded, looking down.
Sighing, I placed the wet cotten ball on her scrape, flinching as she hissed, trying to yank her hand back. I tightened my hold, dabbing the wound, watching it bubble slightly. "It's okay. It's only killing the bad germs in it so it doesn't get worse," I explained, smiling up at her.
She sniffed, tears filling her wide eyes.
I grimaced. Ah, fook... she's gonna cry...
Quickly, soaked another cotten ball, grabbed her other hand, then started to dab at her palm. She sniffed again, tensing. When I looked up, she was gritting her teeth, tears racing down her cheeks.
"I'm sorry," I mumbled, wrapping my arms around her shoulders, resting my chin on her head.
She shuddered, her quiet cries muffled in my blue sweatshirt.
I rubbed her arms. "You're such a champ."
(Y/N) nodded, looking up at me.
I sighed, then pulled away, unwrapping the bandages, placing them over her palm, and knees. "We'll wait to do those in the morning," I smiled.
She nodded again, wiping her eyes. "C-can I go to bed now?"
I smiled softly, picking her up. "Of course," I left the bathroom, going into my room. I set her down on my bed, then crouched to take her shoes off. "I don't have any pajamas that would fit you, but I have some shirts you can wear."
(Y/N) nodded, struggling to pull her pants off. I sighed, then helped her, pulling her shirt off as well. Once done, I spun, then opened my closet, pulling out a random shirt. When I looked at the logo, I scowled. It was a cartoony Jacksepticeye in the middle of high-fiving. Sighing, I threw it back in, pulling out a Septic Sam t-shirt.
Better.
Spinning, I helped her into it, then nodded. "Good?"
(Y/N) smiled, blinking sleepily. "Yeah," she crawled up to the top of the bed, then slid down under the covers.
I watched her for a moment, then stepped towards the door. "Okay, we-!"
"Will you sing to me, Anti?"
I froze, looking at her. She yawned, snuggling into the covers. "Ah, I'm not that good..."
"It's okay," (Y/N) mumbled. "Please?"
I studied her for a moment, before stepping closer. "... alright," I sat next to her on the edge of my bed, then wracked my brain for a song.
War pigs? No...
Smoke on the Water? No...
Jailbreak? No!
Ugh! Why am I only thinking about classic rock songs? That's not suitable for a child! I don't-!
I looked down at (Y/N), blinking. "Alright, (Y/N). It's been a while since I've listened to it, but I'll try to remember, 'kay?"
She nodded.
I closed my eyes, then straightened my back, closing my eyes.
"Come little children
I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
Come little children
The times come to play
Here in my garden of shadows," I looked down at (Y/N) to see her staring at me. I felt my "other-half", if you will, mix with my voice, making it haunting, yet beautiful."Follow sweet children
I'll show thee the way
Throught all the pain and the sorrows
Weep not poor children
For life is this way
Murdering beauty and passions."(Y/N) was blinking sleepily now, but almost seemed enraptured with my voices. I smiled.
"Hush now dear children
It must be this way
Too weary of life and deceptions
Rest now my children
For soon we'll away
Into the calm and the quiet."(Y/N) swayed to my humming, her eyes half-lidded.
"Come little children
I'll take thee away
Into a land of enchantment
Come little children
The times comes to play
Here in my garden of shadows."I finished, drawing out the last word. Sighing, I glanced over, then blinked. "(Y/N)?"
She smiled sleepily, eyes dull, and half-lidded.
I frowned, but dismissed it, standing and stretching. "Goodnight, (Y/N). I'll wake you in the morning so we can find your parents."
(Y/N) nodded, then closed her eyes, sighing deeply.
I left the room, closing the door quietly behind me. "Ah... that was weird."
That was great! It's been a while since I've sang like that!
I snorted, going to the living room, plopping down on the couch. "Yeah, well. Don't expect it often."
Don't worry... I won't.
