I woke up with a sharp pain in my back. Like something was sticking into me. Where on earth was I? I could tell I wasn't in my own bed, before even opening my eyes. The sound of water rushing, and birds chirping filled my ears. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I remember this place. I do. The small hut that lay around me was made of sticks. The grass was very green .. but also very prickly. I got up and walked towards the fragile door. Pushing it open, the breeze brushed through my hair, sending it back to the wild strains it always is. The landscape brought back so many memories. If only I could remember why this beautuful place, seemed so familier to me.

"Courtney!" I heard a voice yell. "Over here!" I frowned and followed the voice. I marched my way over to the waterfull where a boy my age stood. With his baby blue eyes and dirty blonde hair ... I new exactly who he was, and where I was.

"Peter!" I exclaimed rushing over to him. I embraced him so tight and he did so back.

"Glad to be back?" he asked playing with the fimble around his neck.

"Glad? Peter, I am so happy to be here!" my heart pounding with every word I said.

"The boys have missed you!"

"As have I missed them!" I looked around. Now I could remember. I knew exactly where I was. Neverland.

"Well come on!" he started "Lets go and find tink!" as he finished he lifted his arm and flew off into the air.

"Come on slow-poke!" he teased.

I stood there with my arms crossed and I shook my head.

"I dont know if you forgot but I can not fly!" Peter laughed at me and came back down.

"Oh right ..." I stood closer to him and grabbed some remainents of fairy dust from his shoulder.

"Shall this be enough?" I asked.

"It should be. I mean why dont you just think happy thoughts? its much easier you know"

"Yes but .... ugh fine!" I took a few steps back and thought happy thoughts. Sunshine. Family. Puppies. I ran and ran and before I knew it I was soaring through the air.

"Ha ha!" I laughed in victory.

"See! I told you!" I followed Peter until we landed.

"Ah ... home sweet home!" He calmly said. The underground lair. The bad indians nor hook could find us here. As we slid down the large slide, made of vines and cut offs from leaves, I could hear the Lost Boys in the near distance.

"HERE WE COME!" Peter yelled. I rolled my eyes at his keen ability to show us off in his own little way.

"PETER! COURTNEY!" The boys yelled.

"BOYS!" I yelled back with my much enthusiasm.

"WELCOME HOME MOTHER!" I clapped with the rest and took a seat next to Peter.

"Well" started Pete "What should we do?" I placed my finger near my mouth and pretended to think.

"Hmm ... how about ...."

"Come on, hurry up and think god damn it!" Peter joked.

"Pirates!" he cheered at great suspence.

"Oh, but we can not fly!" the boys complained.

"Oh, I am terribly sorry!" I apologized. "Next time?" I asked.

"Of coarse. We have some work to do anyway"

Peter and I looked at eachother and smiled.

"Lets go!"

Flying through the air I kept flashing glances at him. I knew that he wasn't real. That this, this would all be gone tomorrow. Why? Why couldn't he .. or this be real?.

"Peter?" I asked tilting my head to one side.

"Yes?" he told me, smirking.

"Why does this end so fast?"

"What?" he questioned me confused.

"This. Neverland. I dont want to go home" I sighed and watched the night, start to fade away.

"Because. I cant last forever....that just wouldn't be fun!" .......

********

'Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep' Ugh. Back to reality.

"Noo!" I complained out loud. Life. No Neverland, fairies or .. Peter. I felt so lonely when I wasn't there and I was here. It just wasn't the same.

"Courtney!" my brother yelled.I groaned and stumbled out of bed.

"Mum said it's time to get ready for Church!" Yay. (Here the sarcasm in my voice?)

Church was okay I guess. Not amazing. Just okay. Mum has made me go ever since I have been talking about the visits to Neverland and all. I think she wants me to 'get real' or something or rather. All I know is ... Church is a fantastic place to go if you are mental or a plain boring person.

"COURTNEY!"

"Im coming!" I walked downstairs to find my mum standing at the bottom of the steps. My mother is very pretty. Her long, curly blonde hair (that is normally very straight) hung in a side position. The black stockings were covered in a bright red dress and black stilettos. The white blouse that showed a tiny bit If her stomach still looked amazing.

"Sorry mum!" I beckoned.

"Quick love we have ten minutes! " she told me pointing to the time.
