Flamepaw sprinted toward the lake, tears going down her face. "Why me! Why can't I be loved! Why does everyone hate me! I JUST WANT HIM! IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK!?" she yowled. She suddenly noticed that she wasn't traveling to the lake at all... She was at the Moon Pool. The water looked like a small patch of the night sky was on the reflection of the water. Flamepaw was amazed by its beauty, she forgot the time, and she should head back to the camp before everyone gets worried.

Later that night, with only the moon and stars guiding her, she found her way back to the Moon Pool. Flamepaw made her way down to the simmering water, and slowly walked toward the pool of liquid sky. She sat on the cold pebbles and lapped up some of the water. She had laid down by entrance of the cave in which was covering the Moon Pool. As she fell asleep, it felt like something was going through her... like some kind of mystical feeing. She tried to ignore the feeling, and she slowly drifted into sleep, and let the darkness take control over her body.

It seems it only was a few moments before Flamepaw woke up in a forest that was lush, green, and smelt of pray.

"It's so pretty here!" she mews to herself, but it seems she's not alone. As Flamepaw was so intrigued by the beauty of the forest, a strange cat comes up behind and scared Flamepaw out of her fur. As Flamepaw wiped around, she noticed that the cat was a pale gray she-cat with what looked like stars in her fur.

"Hello Flamepaw... I've been waiting for you." the strange cat said with a kind mew. Flamepaw didn't feel threated anymore, but welcome by the strange cat.

"Um W-well I was just l-looking, I didn't mean to cause trouble." Flamepaw stammered. But... how did this trange cat know her name? Flamepaw was nerves suspicious, but she held her head high.

"You caused no trouble Flamepaw, I've been waiting for you for a long time my daughter." Daughter? Flamepaw repeated the word in her head over and over and her mind started to swirl

"S-sparktail? Mama is it really you!" Flamepaw looked at her mother with astonishment, her mother looked well fed and really happy. As Flamepaw went up to her mother she just wanted to stay with her forever. But after what felt like moons, her mother finally backed away.

"I have led you here for a resin Flamepaw." Sparktail's expression was no longer playful and happy, but serious and cold, and it sent a shiver down Flamepaw's spine.

"I have led you here because I needed you to finally except your fate..." Sparktail said as she started to fad and Flamepaw's world started to tern black again. But before her world returned to complete darkness, she hears a faint whisper of her mother's voice.

"Beware of the ones whose fur is drenched in blood..."
