*Chapter 3*

"Where were we, Princess?"
I slammed my locker shut. Princess! Really?
"I'm getting so freaking tired of these pet names." I snapped.
I turned and saw Calum, not Sam.
He pouted, "Is it that time of the month again?"
I gasped and punched his arm. Jerk.
"So it is." He smirked as he looked me up and down.
It was that time of the month again, but I'm not going to tell him that!
I sighed." I thought you were Sam."
"Ouch. I'm offended."
I grinned at his reply. I guess he doesn't like Sam either.
I licked my dry lips and said,"So, what did you want?"
"I want you to go on a date with me." He said with no expression.
If I had a glass of water, I'd take a sip and then spit it out. This is a sip-then-spit moment.
"W-What?" I asked dumbfounded and slightly blushing.
Calum asking me out? You don't see that everyday.
Is this some kind of parallel universe or Opposite Day?
Maybe both.
"Go on a date with me."
"Why?"
"Because." He shrugged.
"This is the "but", right? This is what I have to do so you won't tell Zander?"
"Correct."
I'm so gonna regret this. But if it's for Zander not finding out I'll do it.
"Fine."
"Fine what?" He asked innocently.
He seriously wants to play this game.
"Fine I will go out on a date with you, asshole."
"Ok then, pick you up at 8." He ruffled my hair. "Wear something nice, Princess."
He walked away as I groaned.
Boys and their pet names.
"What was that all about?"
I turned and saw Grayson leaning on the locker next to mine.
"Just Calum being Calum." I chuckled. I didn't want him knowing about our... Date.
"Thanks for the other day, Grayson. I really appreciated it." I said wanting to change the topic.
"No problem. You were dying out there, I had to do something." He smiled that award winning smile.
Wow. I, Kamryn Maddox, is having a conversation with the football captain. Before Natalie Sinclair.
1 point for Kamryn, 0 for Natalie.
"Well, I gotta get to fourth period. See you later Kamryn." He waved goodbye as he walked down the hall.
"Why is he even talking to her!?" Exclaimed a, pissed off Natalie down the hall, to her friends.
Good question, Natalie, good freaking question.

-

"HE ASKED YOU ON A WHAT!?" Hailey and Kieran shrieked.
"A date." I repeated for the hundredth time. Ever since I called them over and told them, they just kept on asking the question over and over again.
"HE ASKED YOU ON A-!?"
"Guys!" I yelled exasperated.
They quickly shut their mouths.
Now I bet everyone down the block knows about my date with Calum. Thanks to my best friends.
I took a deep breath.
"Can you just help me get ready, Hails?" I asked her with my eyes closed facing my vanity.
She muttered a sure and I felt her presence behind me. She then started on my makeup.
"Does Zander know about this... Date?" Asked Kieran.
"I have no idea," I say. "Wouldn't Calum tell him?"
"Honestly, I don't think so." Replied Kieran.
I sighed. I really don't want another lie adding to the pile of the already hundreds there are.
I have to come up with something just in case Calum didn't tell Zander.
Suddenly, light bulb!
"Why don't you guys come with? So if Zander asks where we're going he'll know you two are gonna be there." I said.
I mean, it could work. If Zander sees us then it will look like best friends hanging out.
"It's worth a try." Said Hailey.
I waited for Kieran's response. When I didn't get one, I turned to look at him.
"Kieran?" I asked.
"Um, sure." He said unsurely.
Oh no.
Whenever Kieran is unsure about something, that something goes wrong somehow. Now I'm more nervous than I was before.
"Here," said Hailey, making me turn towards her." I picked out this outfit for you."
In her hands was a black leather skirt, a white tank top, and black leather vest.
"Wow," said Kieran." Lots of... leather."
"Well she is going on a date with a bad boy." Hailey said, matter-of-factly.
"Thanks Hails. It'll look good with my combat boots." I said.
"Yes!" She squeals. "Genius Kam!"
After about 20 minutes of squeals, sighs, and unsure looks from Kieran, I was ready.
Hailey went downstairs to grab some drinks, so Kieran and I were just sat silently.
Somehow he was now seated at my vanity and I was on my bed.
"You look amazing." Kieran said out of the blue.
"Thanks," I felt like I had to say something else so I stupidly put in,"You look amazing too."
Right when those words left my mouth, I mentally slapped myself. Kieran gave me a confused smile.
"Oh my God," I groaned. "I'm such an idiot."
He laughed. "No,no,no. You're not an idiot, Kamryn." He sat down next to me. "Thank you for the compliment."
We both chuckled at our stupidity.
He put his arm around me as he calmed down. "I'm just nervous, that's all." I admitted. "Calum and I never really got along."
"Yeah." He said.
"Kamryn," Hailey said eagerly. "Calum's here."

-

"I'm not getting on that."
"Kamryn," said Calum a little offended. "Just get on."
In front of me right now was a human death machine on wheels.
Yes, it is indeed a motorcycle.
Of course the bad boy has a freaking motorcycle!
I should have read a Dummies Guide: To A Date With The Bad Boy Who Also Happens To Be Keeping A Secret Of Yours.
Obviously, I'm not prepared for this.
I shook my head no. He sighed.
"Princess, just get on the damn thing already."
I took a deep breath.
Remember what this is for Kamryn. Just get on it.
Finally, I obliged.
He handed me a helmet and turned the thing on.
"You're going to have to hold on." He said as he turned slightly.
I gripped the seat tightly and waited for him to go.
He chuckled as I asked why weren't we moving.
"First time for everything." He muttered.
Just when I was about to ask what he means, he grabbed my wrists and put them around his torso.
We both tensed at the action.
What is that? It's really... hard.
"Those are abs Kamryn." He smirked, reading my mind.
Oh. Abs.
In my defense, Sam and I have only kissed. Nothing more than that.
Hold on was the only warning Calum gave me before speeding off.
As if we were going somewhere important. Which we were not.
Hailey and Kieran were in Kieran's car behind us.
I haven't told Calum about them and Calum hasn't told me if he told Zander about this.
Calum told me we matched.
He was wearing skinny jeans and a white shirt with a leather jacket.
He told me he liked my outfit. A lot.
Thanks I had said awkwardly.
I couldn't wait to go home.

Hello guys! I'm really sorry I took so long to publish another chapter. I was in Daytona Beach for three days and couldn't write. I will try to be faster with updates and all that jazz. Anyways, the guy at the top is Calum.
What do you guys predict will happen on their date?
Why  did Calum ask her on a date?
Please don't forget to...
