Hello one and all! So I think it's safe to assume that if you've stumbled upon this book and are reading it then you must know and love EDM! If not, then let me tell you the basics...
EDM stands for Electronic Dance Music. Some people refer to it as club music but I don't really agree with that because club music tends to include a lot of pop songs. EDM is more like songs that have its music created electronically rather than with an instrument. Though the EDM nowadays branches out sooo much that there's so many categories and with that we see the incorporation of transitions like more instrumental beats and more vocals. I hope a reader can help me define it better but for now that is all I can say.
Alright...so now to the main point: What is this book about? Well, it's less of a book and more of a forum for EDM lovers like myself to chat and share new and their favorite EDM songs and artists.
Like I mentioned above, there's just so many branches and so many artists of EDM that it's virtually impossible to keep track and so people might miss out on some really great music.
So with this forum I hope people just let loose and indulge in their common love for EDM by sharing their playlists with each other. And who knows...maybe along the way you'll even make some great new friends!
So here's how it'll go...Once every week I will post up a new part to this book with some of the songs I really think are good (I'll even try to post up videos to the songs). Then the readers can pitch in and comment their recommendations and I will feature them in the next update. If there's a song that seems to be quite popular, we will have a forum discussion about it and hopefully get some new perspective on the songs we all love... We can talk about music festivals coming up, we can talk about artist gigs, we can talk about anything and everything E.D.M.!!!!!
How does that sound? I'm really excited for this!!! Like Oh My Gawd! And I'd really love for people to participate. I'm even looking for co-writers to help me with this, so if you're interested, let me know!
