It was October 9,2013, and tomorrow's the birthday of Gintoki.
Riku was just walking around the campus almost to the front gate and something caught his shoulder.
Shinpachi: Oi, Riku-kun!
Riku: Oh, Shinpachi-kun! What's up?
Shinpachi: Are you busy this afternoon?
Riku: No, why?
Shinpachi: Matte, I'll tell ya later.
So, They've reached the school garden where not much people is going.
Riku: So, what are you about to tell me Pachi-kun?
Shinpachi: So, tomorrow's Gin-san's birthday.
Riku: Oh yeah. ^w^
Shinpachi: So here's the plan. Me and the Shinsengumi are gonna put up the decorations, you'll buy the cake, Kagura-chan will be in-charge of the balloons and the others are in-charge with the party favors.
Riku: THIS IS GOING TO BE AWESOME! yey!
Shinpachi: Your place, 5pm, okay?
Riku: Sure!
(Timeskip: Tomorrow, 6am.)
Riku: *thinks* Hmm... So, I'll just buy 25 yen strawberry milk, for my enrichment since I'll kinda eat a lot when the party starts. So, at least I have 175 yen left to buy that cake!
(Timeskip: 4pm, dismissal)
Riku's finally free from school, and runs to the nearest cake shop he can find...
Saleslady: "Welcome to our shop! What can we do for you?"
Riku: Do you have a strawberry birthday cake?
Saleslady: Yes, although it'll be ready at about 20 minutes.
Riku: *internally groans* Fine, 175yen right?
Saleslady: Hai.
*gives money*
Meanwhile at the Yorozuya,
Shinpachi: Oi Minna! 30 mins to go! (( Its actually 4:30pm now ))
Kagura: Oi Megane! Can you help me inflating these?
Shinpachi: *sigh* Okay. -_-
Shinpachi: Where's Riku?
Sougo: I'll call him.
*phone rings*
Riku: Moshi moshi~
Sougo: Where the heck are you?
Riku: Cake Shop, where else?
Sougo: *groans* How much longer?
Riku: Hmmm... Maybe about 10 minutes?
Sougo: *sigh* Just be quick! Boss is gonna be here any minute after 5pm!
Riku: Okay, okay. -_-
Saleslady: Okay sir, the cake is ready to serve and packed!
Riku: Thanks!
So, Riku ran as fast as he can and he manage to be home on time.
Riku: *slams door open* TADAIMA!
Sougo: Okaeri, well, finally you're here... You can just place the cake on the table.
Shinpachi: Quick, I can see Gin-san coming closer! Kagura-chan, turn off the lights!
Kagura: Can you say please sometimes?
Shinpachi: Okay, please?
Kagura: *turns lights off*
Hijikata: Do I feel a bazooka has pointed at my head?
Sougo: No.
Shinpachi: Shh! Be quiet!
Gintoki: *opens door* Great, the electric company might have been eaten by titans again. *opens light*
All: SURPRISE!
Gintoki: What the fuck are you all doing here?
Shinpachi: IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!
Gintoki: *checks calendar* Oh yeah. it is.
Riku: So, are we just gonna stand here and do nothing? LEZZ PARTY!
So, we played games and another Sougo and Kagura fight once again.
And we finally ate the strawberry cake...
Gintoki: *drools* Can.. I...?
Riku: Sure, it's your birthday after all.
Gintoki: YEY! *gets a half slice of the whole cake*
Riku: Oi, Take some back for the others!
Gintoki: d'awww... TTATT
Riku: So, whatcha think about the party?
Gintoki: It's fine. Arigatou
Riku: Douite, don't forget to thank Megane-kun!
Shinpachi: I heard that!
And we party all night long... Until they have to go home at 10pm.
With bulging bellies because of the cake, and happy memories, Gin-san's birthday was a success.
