ch. 1 and then i met you

~paige's POV~

(1:07 pm - lunch)

"You finished eating already?" the lunch lady asked me. I smiled.
"Yes," I replied. "I'm not really hungry anyways." She shrugged and I threw away the left of my lunch. I packed my things and left the table. I walked on my way to 6th period and waved to some friends on the way.

"Hi, Macy! How ar-" *oof*
I looked over my shoulder and saw that someone had pushed me. All her school work had fallen out of her backpack.
"Sorry," she said picking up her books one by one. I stopped to help her.
"Its okay," I said. "Here let me help you," she smiled and said thank you when all her books were back in her backpack.

~6th period classroom~

I sat down at my desk waiting for the teacher. Three seats behind me, I notice the girl that had pushed me on accident earlier. I never knew she was in my class. It wasn't a surprise to me because she was in the back.

I got up from my chair and walked up to her. "I never got to know your name," I told her, smiling. She smiled back.
"I'm Jackie," she held out her hand.
I took her hand and we shook hands.
"I'm Paige," I replied. "Nice to meet you. I smiled and she smiled back.
