Scarlett had the same words repeating in her mind over and over. She didn't question The Masters orders, as she knew very well what that would result in. Failure was not an option.
Every time a fellow student would fail, she would witness the punishment. She, herself had failed once, and the event was traumatic. It was sadistic and sick.
A man in a white coat had walked in, sliced her heels at least an inch deep, made her stand on gravel in Ukrain's unforgiving climate, and hold the weight of her 'sins', which was the mutilated body of another student who had unsuccessful missions too many times. She had only been around 18, and the experience had never left her since.
She was a specially trained assassin, a deadly force that was unknown to anyone.
From the time she was a small child, she had been conditioned to kill without remorse, interrogate in the most efficient ways, and toy with her victims minds.
She had undergone a procedure at the age of 16, that gave her the ability to heal at six times the rate of the average human, and four times the endurance, strength, and speed.
They had unleashed a super weapon upon the world, that went unchecked.
And now they would suffer the consequences.
