Chapter 3

Alina pov-
It's been 3wks since I've seen Annie or Derrick. i still haven't told Annie about what went down that night I still haven't figured out what I'm going to say to her it's all just been so hard and I'm slowing going back into depression. I graduate in 1 wk and I have to face her for the fist time in weeks since that night , cause of course she will be there .
I walked downstairs and fixed myself some cereal and watched a little bit of the fresh prince and it had me cracking up he entire time I swear it's nothing like a good ole tv show !!!

"Damn who is it " I said rolling my eyes I was not in the mood to talk. I picked up the phone and it was Annie calling "speaking of the devil "
"Hello" I answered
" hey bestie , Wyd !" She semi yelled
"Nun girl eating cereal."  I said while taking a spoon full of cereal
" aw ok , are you excited about graduation  ...cause I am " she said I could tell she was smiling on the other end ..but TBH I really wasn't even excited about graduation it's not that big to me .
"Yeah I- "but before I could get my word out I threw up my cereal and and everything that I had eaten this whole week..
"Alina !! You okay...Alina " anime called out
"Yea-h I- I left the phone and made a run for the bathroom I did not want to mess up my floor , I was throwing so much To the point where there was absolutely nothing left in me but organs . I felt horrible once I got stable I wiped my face and washed my hands and teeth . I walked back to the kitchen and picked my phone back up
"Hello, Alina you there ?" Annie called out
"Yeah I'm here booh ." I said while while wiping up the throw that got on he floor
"You ok ..you want me to come over ?" Annie questioned
" no no I'm good , probably just morning sickness or something I'm going to be fine ." I replied 
"You sure Alina ." Annie asked
"Yeahhh I'm sure " i said
"Okkkk Ig " she laughed
"We'll go get some rest call me when you wake " she said
"Alright will do "I said
We said our goodbyes and hung up I cleaned up the throw up and decided to go on to bed I felt terrible and weak .
Graduation-
"Come Alina wake up ...you got this ! ...today is your graduation day ...your finally done and can start your life and career." I said basically giving myself some motivation to get up and get ready for today.
I got up and went to my closet to pick out some to where. After mins of searching I found the perfect outfit . I decided on a red maxi dress with a spilt down the side along with a long v-neck that somewhat showed cleavage I complimented this with some black ankle length heels . So once I finished placing my clothes out I checked the time and I had 2 1/2 before I had to be at the school to meet up with the other students and administrators. I hoped in the shower and did my hygiene , and after I finished, I did my makeup with took most of my time which left me with 1/2 hour left to get dressed. I threw on my clothes and grabbed my purse in keys and headed downstairs.

"Hello" I answered
"Hey bestie , Wyd !" Annie yelled
"Nothing trying to run out this house before I be late to this damn graduation " i said while locking the door to my house and making it to my car
"Aww ok , I'm so excited my bestie graduating !!! We going to this really fancy restaurant down the street from mainland street kind of close by the school, and Derrick insisted to pay for everything !!!" She said overexcitedly
" oh ok , that's that's cool " i said with a studder ..that was the last person name in this world name I wanted to hear and just hearing his name made my body tense up .
"Yeah but girl I gotta get going I'm at the school now " I said while pulling up at the school
"Kk booh I'll be there front row cause I'm coming extra early I don't wanna have to fight a hoe over a seat I mentally claimed already lol !!" Annie laughed
"Girl you a mess , but bye see you soon!" I said
"Byeee" she said while hanging up

"Omg, I'm next" I said to myself mentally, I was more than ready to get this over with... Due to the fact that I wasn't feeling good and I only had one person here to even cheer me on.
"Alina Washington "
"Thats me " I said while getting up from my seat and making my way to the stage. I heard Annie voice cheer loudly over the speaker. "That's my bestie , you better !" She yelled making me look her way. As I was looking her way I could see Derrick very clearly applauding... "Uhhhh" I said while mentally rolling my eyes . I walked up to the administration and got my diploma and shook hands with the deans and along with the others. I made my different stops at the destined points that were practiced, and made my way off the stage and back to my seat but before I could get their I felt my stomachs giving out and before I knew it I was throwing up chumps of food from this weeks last week and some more! I ran to the bathroom in embarrassment.
I ran to the stale and held my stomach in pain ..I was throwing up more than ever it had to be something wrong . After I got everything out I left the stale and went straight to the sink and rinsed my mouth out and cleaned myself up..surprisingly I felt better after getting all that out .
"Alina , are you ok?" Annie said while rushing over to me
"I'm good now, but I don't want to stay here can we just leave " I said faintly
"Oh Yesss booh, we can...whatever you want to do is fine by me !"
" ok cool I said while walking out , just meet me up front in the lobby I'll meet you there , I have to go get my keys and purse" I said while walking towards the student center . Once I made it to the student center I got my things and went to meet Alina .
"Congrats ma" I heard a deep voice say behind me. I turned around to see Derrick walking up to me .
"Derrick move away from me I don't wanna see you , I thought we had a deal." I said while backing up
"Yeah we did ma , but that deal was off once you gave me the time of my life that night ... I sear you had a nigga in another world ." He said while rubbing his hands up my dress
" no no Derrick stop ! Stop now for someone sees us ." I cried
"So you scared to be seen with me ma ! What you trying say" he said getting closer.
" I'm saying , to get the fuck away from me now before I tell your fiancé who you really are !" I semi yelled
"Ha! That ain't no threat.. She gon cut you off just as well and we will be in the same boat ..I'm sure you don't want that to happen ..now do you?! " he said while raising his hands higher up my dress "right , so I advise you to keep your mouth shut !"
"Slap" before I knew it my hand went flying right onto his face! He held his face in pain and I slide past his causing him to grip my arm
"You bitch !" He yelled
I snatched my arm away " fuck you Derrick you deserve every bit of that slap now go get a life you sick fuck ! I can't believe I'm allowing your stupid ah to even be in my BestFriend life she needs better !"
I keep walking until I got to the lobby where Annie was waiting.
"Hey booh " she said after spotting me
"Heyy " I said "you ready girl "
"Um yeah but I'm waiting on Derrick to come from the bathroom !"
"Oh , ok , um can I ask you something "
"Yeah anything love?" She said
" I um ..well do you think Derrick is the one ..don't you think their someone better ?" I said bluntly not knowing how to even word what I wanted to say
"What do you mean do I think he's the one Alina!, I love him , I swear if you an- !"
"Hey beybeh , Derrick said coming over and kissing her on the check ." , "hey Alina, what we talking about over here ?" He asked while looking at me then back at Annie
"Um nothing baby , just girl talk. " Annie said covering up for what we really was talking about.
"Yeah " I said agreeing with her
"ok well you two ladies ready to go" he said while walking out.
"Yeah " me and Annie said together
"Once we got out side we split up and went to our cars and decided on meeting up at the restaurant.
I waited before I pulled off to get the address from Annie and once I received it I made my way their .
Once I got their I quickly spotted Annie and Derrick at the entrance..and they looked so happy they were hugging and kissing just doing couple stuff , and it hurt me a little and especially knowing that the man I love is marring my BestFriend and that are happy together !
I broke my thought and decided to gon on and go into the restaurant.

"This way " the waiter said motioning us to the table. We made our way to the table and the waiter took our drinks and came back and took the orders .
While we were waiting we made small talk but it was so awkward with Derrick being there .. After mins of waiting our food came and we all didn't waist no time digging in .
"Man this was good" Derrick said while rubbing his stomach "I think I want a drink "
"Me too " Annie said while pushing her fork over on her cleaned plate she was eating a lot ..and I've never seen her clean her plate after all the years we've known each other .
"Na baybeh you know you can't have drinks Nomore"
"No more , why not !" I pouted due to the fact that Annie was my one and only drinking buddy
"Oh yeah !" Annie said with smile !
"What is it?" said with worried eyes
"I'm pregnant your going to be a god-mom !!" She semi yelled
"Omg" I said not giving off the face of excitement! This news was the breaker for me. I don't think I can take the fact that's she's having his first child ! I was ok with the marriage but this just did something to me .
"Alina what's wrong?" Annie called out
"Um -mM" my words slurred and my vision was blurry and couldn't see nothing. And out of nowhere I blanked completely out .

"Hello Mrs. Washington, how are you feeling ?"
The nurse said while walking in.
"Um how long have i been-" and before I could get my words I saw Annie flying into the room
"Omg is she ok  !"
"Um she's going to be ok" the doctor exclaimed
"Alina don't ever do something like this to me again or we gon fight ! " Annie said teary eyed "I thought I lost my BestFriend man
" I'm sorry i don't know what happened" I said while embracing her in a bear hug.
"Well ok Mrs. Washington i have good news and bad news for you !"
"Ok what is it " I questioned
" good news your doing fine and this is nothin serious, but we found something in your body and we just wanted to take a couple of test on you which requires for you to stay overnight " " no big deal" the nurse said waving me off playfully
"Um ok " I said in a sigh I wanted so badly to be in my own bed but i have to do what I gotta do .
"Well Annie I can stay overnight with you if you -" Annie said
"No Annie go home to your fiancé , I'm good booh I'm sure you don't wanna stay as much as I don't I'm good booh " I said while waving her off
"Uhh Ig , but imma be here bright and early !"
"Ok , and I'll be here waiting !" I said with a smile
"Well I better get going it's getting late " Annie said while pulling me into another hug
"Oh my gosh Annie , I'm not dying you will see me again !" I said playfully slapping her arm
"I know I know but I'm not good with hospitals I only have bad memories from here. " she exclaimed
"I know I know , but this is not the case here I'm going to be fine " I said
"Ok ok ,well I see you tomorrow " she said while leaving the room
"Ok bestie bye bye " I yelled out . Once the nurse and Annie left I took a nap until I got my test back from the doctor.

"Knock ,knock "
"Come in" I yelled
" hi Mrs. Washington, the nurse said while walking In with a laptop . "
"Any good news" I said "like going home !"
"Oh no, not until tomorrow Mrs. Washington, but i do have some good news for you along with just a little information that you will need to know ! "
"Ok shoot " i said assuring her that i was ready for the news
"Ok well congratulations.. Your a mommy and your 6 wks pregnant today ! " she said with a big smile
Hearing that made me automatically break down ! I only had sex with one person in my whole life and that's Derrick and I knew he was my babies father.
"Mrs. Washington are you ok " the nurse said rushing over to me
"No I am not , I can't have a child I'm not I'm not ready please tell me this is a mistake please . " I cried out causing more and more tears to leave my eyes
"I'm pretty sure this is a very accurate test we did a blood test and they are very efficient , their were no mistakes made. Mrs . Washington this is a good thing don't look at the bad things ." She said while rubbing my back
"Well Ms. Nurse It's easy for you to say , I'm going to be a single parent who just graduated college. I'm going to have to put my career on hold again I can't affords this !" I said braking down more and more at the fact that I'm going to be someone's mommy , and the even big problem was how am I going to tell my BestFriend that her fiancée is my baby daddy.
"Mrs. Washington everything's is going to work out just calm down " the nurse said trying to comfort me . "I have some information that you need to know " she said making me sit up
"Ok what is it" I said faintly prepared for whatever else I was going to hear nothing can't top what I just heard.
"Um we found something in your lungs and it looked funny so we tested you and everything came back negative but sometimes things can develop over time and the test can change to positive.. So we just wanted to let you know that we have spotted something but we are not sure what it is or what it can change into and your best bet will be to check in with a specialist to get it checked out daily so that we can catch what ever it is as it grows or even if it's nothing you can be on the safe side , here's a card and it has six different specialists for six different locations you can choose which is better and more convenient for you " she said while handing me the card. I just sat their processing everything I just got told this was all way too much for one day !

What's wrong with Alina ????
Is she going to tell Annie about her pregnancy or even about her and Derrick hook up ??
How will Derrick react when he finds out he has two kids on he way ??
