Moonwatcher POV

Ow, my head. Mind reading actually gets tiring Moon complained to herself. Of course, she wouldn't wish to be anything other than herself but she still was having trouble with mind reading. She was surrounded by other dragons and the rain droplet trick wasn't working as much as she wanted it to.

It had been such a crazy day and Moon's friends were now just waiting in a cave for the "ok" to come out. Turtle had rejoined them and was once again off on his own journey. He was rescuing a very violent Skywing with oddly blue colored eyes. What the Skywing was doing, no one knew for sure. Their only guess was helping Queen Scarlet get her thrown back which is the opposite of what the dragonets were trying to do.

Moonwatcher paced the cave. Her friends and herself weren't even talking to each other. They were all just discussing with themselves in their heads. It's getting later and later. Is Turtle having trouble? I knew we should've came to help but he is an animus so he can probably handle it. Moon peered outside almost hoping she could see Turtle light up in the sky so she could ask what happened.

The vision appeared with force. Moon was half expecting to see Jade Mountain collapsing but she instead got one of her mind reading friend, Darkstalker. He was about five times the size of her as he stood towering over her. His eyes were all red and when he put his foot down, there was rumble as an earthquake knocked over Moon. She stayed watching as Darkstalker swung his tail around and made mountains collapse, one of the mountains being Jade Mountain. Moon watched Darkstalker horrorstruck as he did an evil laugh. He stamped his foot down again and Moon got launched out of her vision.

As Moonwatcher opened her eyes, Qibli and Winter were already by her side trying to help. They of course asked what happened but Moon didn't tell them about him. She just said Jade Mountain collapsed again, which was true, but it wasn't the whole story. The thing was, Moon didn't think he was that bad. Other dragons hated him and were scared so just telling them what he'd done would make them think worse of him.

----------------------------------------Time Skip----------------------------------------------

It was late at night and Moon was all alone, flying through the dark sky. So much had happened in the last hours that just added onto the already crazy day. In fact, what she was doing right at this instant was adding on too. Turtle came back with Peril saying that Scarlet was dead, they found the talisman of animus powers which was Darkstalker's, and now, she was flying to find Darkstalker with his talisman.

Moon didn't think about what she was doing, she just wanted to find him and then think it through. She knew she should have probably told her friends but something told her they would try to stop her. Stopping her would've probably been the best thing to do because releasing the Darkstalker isn't the safest thing to do. Moon although, didn't worry at all what was going to happen because she trusted Darkstalker.

Darkstalker POV

Patience, patience Darkstalker chanted to himself. It had been such a long time since he actually moved and the fact knowing Moon was going to help him get out of his prison felt amazing. Sitting and starving and listening to thoughts wasn't the worst life though. Darkstalker actually found it entertaining listening to all the drama happening outside his hole.

Darkstalker then let a rain droplet of thoughts loose for him to hear at Jade Mountain Academy. It was of a Mudwing named Clay who apparently was a dragonet of destiny and saved Pyrrhia from the long lasting war. He liked food and seemed to be in sort of a relationship with a Skywing named Peril. Well, not really a relationship but, friendship maybe? Darkstalker thought.

Darkstalker's attention got thrown to a new dragon as they flew into his boundary of mind readability. Darkstalker shut out Clay's thoughts and moved on to the other dragon. She was a Nightwing dragonet who went to Jade Mountain Academy but recently escaped with her friends to go on a mission for a missing Icewing prince, Hailstorm. Darkstalker looked deeper into the thoughts and got surprised when he read how the Nightwing could read minds too.
